On June 20th I met an inspector named Michael Riskin who came to my house to complete a foundation inspection. The initial problem was my step was cracked and falling apart. I was afraid to walk upstairs. After the the inspection was done I informed his company could not complete the repairs but he didn’t just say I am done we can’t do the repairs. He took the time to explain the problem and gave me a solution with another company. I felt so comfortable and confident about moving forward with my next step with the help from Micheal. That’s not it he also gave me some advice about safe and fixing my steps on my deck in which this was not part of his job. He did not know I had no idea how to go about fixing or get started with anything repairing of those stairs. He took the out of his schedule to text me the size and kind of nails to get and how far to go so I would not cause any more problems. Michael think you for being a caring person to a stranger who need help in more ways the knew. Thank you so kindly.

We had our seasonal inspection done by JES today. Andre McDuffie was my service technician and he was excellent! He identified the concerns we had and did his best to correct. He made it very understandable as to why we were having the concerns we do. He will be putting a proposal and price together for the work that needs to be done after discussing it with his manager. Andre is a true credit & and strong asset to JES.

JES Foundation Repair had the lowest pricing and the fastest response time–and I consulted with several other waterproofing companies that said there's no way any company would do the job at that price! I hired JES Foundation to waterproof the exterior of my home and install a crawlspace dehumidifier. The crew of Henry A. Portillo, Jose Rubio, and Jose R. Garcia did a great job of digging down to my footers, putting membrane and drain tile, and then backfilling the exterior. We had some miscommunication about the scope of the work, but Rudy made sure to send another crew and get the work done exactly as I expected it. And then Rudy sent both a mason and a handyman to fix any damage that was done by the Bobcat. I'd highly recommend JES Foundation Repair.

I had a consultation with Paul Grauer yesterday, and I must say I was extremely impressed with how thorough and professional he was throughout the entire process. He took the time to clearly explain the company, the foundation repair process, and how the materials would be applied, ensuring I fully understood every step. What stood out to me most was the level of care and patience he showed during our conversation. He even encouraged me to call my wife so she could be included in the discussion and have all of her questions answered as well. At no point did I feel rushed — he made sure we were comfortable, informed, and confident in the process. That level of customer service and attention to detail is exactly what earned my business. To be honest, I have been having issues with JES since we moved into our house. I always felt like we were trying to be scared into buying a service. However, Ethan came out today and he was the first technician that made me feel like I was actually heard and did exactly what I wanted him to. Plus, he was seriously so happy and a big ball of sunshine! Ethan actually changed my perception about my past service calls with JES. I was extremely pleased with the work that the men from JES foundation did. We had water seeping into our basement and they came and installed a french drain and also did some work with our gutters to extend them far out. Abdul W. found a root from a bush that was pushing against the wall and cut it off so it would not be an issue. He was very informative and educated me as the work was being done and pointed out problem areas they were going to fix along the way. The other men, Nilhon R. and Walter F. The men did a great job overall and cleaned up all of the mess afterward and I would highly recommend them.

After needing to fix a crack in our foundation that was leaking water into the basement we did our due diligence and scouted several estimates. We opted for JES with Rudy Gonzalez and Jose Reyes undertaking the task to complete the repairs. From the moment we met Rudy and Jose they were professional, attentive , and ensured I understood the work prior to starting any repairs. They explained each step of the multi step process and encouraged me to take pictures at each milestone. As the repairs came to a completion Rudy and Jose left the worksite cleaner than when they arrived and put professional touches on the freshly poured concrete. At the end, they again reviewed their work and sought questions. Their customer service was impeccable as they showcased their craftsmanship. Thank you Rudy Gonzalez and Jose Reyes.

I recently had to have some foundation work done to my home as well as getting it encapsulated. We decided to go with JES Foundation Repair and could not have been anymore pleased. It was a 4 day job and we had the pleasure of getting to know Joe Autry and Dontay. They arrived every day with a smile on their face ready to go to work. To start, Our Sales representative Blaine Harvey was very professional. Did a complete inspection of the property. Made a few recommendations but really focused and addressed our concern/problem areas. This is greatly appreciated.Roberto and Jose Martinez, the installation crew were very polite and professional as well. Addressed all concerns and answered every question showing their expertise in the field. They were very clean throughout the installation. Under the house was left better than before. We had plastic underneath but needed to be removed in order for them to work. Did not expect them to re-line the ground upon completion but they used heavy duty plastic as a replacement. This is greatly appreciated. It is always the little things that make the difference in projects to homeowners. I would like to also mention Jo in the Richmond area office. Was very helpful in getting the information on the account up to date and taking the payment over the phone. Very well spoken and appreciate the small chit chat. She was a tremendous asset. We will need future work (Cleanspace) and would like to work with JES again.Thank youAndrea

I just received a visit from Inspector Andre Williams. I was happy to receive a text message to confirm the arrival time. I also received an arrival text. This heads up allowed me the opportunity to move my feisty dog to another room. Andre's visit was due to a request I put in for a warning signal that has been repeating for the last week. Andre explained the reason for the signal, and immediately resolved the problem. That definitely put me at ease. Thank you so much Andre. The signal was driving me crazy, but now I feel sanity returning. Wonderful!

After thoroughly inspecting our foundation and crawl space, he provided detailed photos of the entire area, walked us through the issues and gave us a comprehensive plan to mitigate the problems with our foundation and crawlspace. He explained the permit process, the work to be performed, and the expected outcome. He answered all of my questions and made me feel good about the project. The work will be warranted for life and the warranty is transferrable. We also received a great military discount! Thanks to Matt for his expertise and personal attention!!

They informed me of their arrival each day and promptly started work.They provided me with before and after pictures of the project so I could see the scope of work performed. They took time to answer my questions in the middle of their work and ensured my understanding. JES was amazing, from start to finish. My estimator was thorough and professional, helping me understand what issues he had identified and how JES would work to remediate it, and helping me work through financing as well. Communication from the scheduling group and the work crews was clear and anticipated my needs; and the teams were on-time, communicating expected and actual arrival. The work crews were a delight to have here. In particular, Tyrone, John, Amir, Kevin, Jackie, and Shai were easy, fun, and kind with one another — all while working extremely hard to tunnel through the worse ice storm this area has seen in 15 years, in order to finish my job on time and precisely as described. They also dug me and my daughter out, when we were stuck in the snow bank on our way to school for the day. That is above and beyond! This is my second time working with JES, and I would hire them again. Highly recommended.

Mr. Rudy Gonzale, Superintendant at the JES in Bristow, VA, came to our rescue when my husband and I called about a foundation water problem. Rudy showed up in a very timely manner. He was very polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. He explained things in a way in which we could understand what was going on with the issue we were experiencing. Rudy listened to and understood our concerns and in a very professional manner he demonstrated empathy and assurance that everything will be alright. Even though my husband and I had never met Rudy before we felt he treated us like he would a family member. Rudy was a blessing to us. He was true to his word that "Everything would be alright". I highly recommend Rudy and his team who assisted us in resolving our problem. We could go on and on about Rudy with the highest accolades because the words Thank You to Rudy doesn't seem adequate.

Had an excellent experience from JES! During the process of investigating a smell in our house, the encapsulation that was previously installed by JES was destroyed by an outside plumbing service. We made an appointment, but with the situation surrounding this damage needing to get expedited, Chris Barefoot got involved, investigated the encapsulation damage, and completed it two days ahead of time. On top of that, he waived the service fee which saved us $200! Our encapsulation looks as great as it did before. I really appreciate Chris and the JES team!

I had forman Charles and installers Hunter, Ricco, and Rock come out and encapsulate my crawl space today. The guys were prompt, professional, and very polite! I highly recommend their work (they need a drone to help with photos in tight crawlspaces like mine lol). This is a huge expensive project, but a heck of an investment. Dont hire your cousin to do this job (the previous owner of my house did this, my floors sag and i had mold on my joists), hire professionals, I highly recommend the JES crew. I will tell all my friends to go with JES if they have foundation issues. 10 out of 10! Thanks again guys!!!

We've used JES in the Richmond metro area twice in the past five years and have been very pleased with their work on both projects. In November 2019, they installed two push piers under a corner of our mid-1960s house that was sinking and installed a CrawlSeal encapsulation system in the crawl space. In September 2024, they installed a steel I-beam and two engineered jacks in the crawl space under a fireplace hearth that didn't have adequate support. Both projects involved working very close to the residential gas line. In both projects, the work was done very well and completed on schedule. Each employee has been professional, knowledgeable, hard-working, and very pleasant to deal with. On the most recent project, Cameron Flynn, lead jack installer, and John Trak, certified field inspector, were terrific. We trust JES employees and will not hesitate to call on them if we need them in the future.

Hired JES to stabilize our sinking foundation after a very positive site survey with field engineer Skylar Wilson. He explained the repair process and guarantee very well and worked with us to develop a logical repair plan. Once the job was scheduled and that date arrived, the install crew of Jaime Castillo, Joel Larios, and Cesar Zafra came and immediately went to work. They were very organized and performed in a very efficient manner. They were patient and provided excellent feedback for my questions of this fascinating process.
