They informed us of each step along the way and explained everything thoroughly and completely. They used pictures from their phones to help explain the process and what they were doing. After they finished their work, they cleaned up the work area, gave us all the written information we needed, explained everything — they were so informative, helpful, knowledgeable, kind, WARM and FRIENDLY! We just moved into our new home and needed some foundation repairs to be done. JES foundation had done some work on the house previously but after the foundation inspection it turned out that the house needed additional work on the other side. The lead foundation inspector Rob Tennyson was very honest and clear and worked with us on a comprehensive plan for the foundation work. Once it was time to start doing the work Rob took personal time to come a day before the project to clear out the vegetation that was going to be in the way of the repairs and hauled everything on his personal truck. Top notch customer care. The next day the crew supervised by Rudy Gonzales and lead by Jose Lopez were very professional, punctual, clean and fast. Once the holes had been dug, they found out that our gas line ran too close to the house and could cause danger if they were to proceed any further. Rudy informed me and suggested that we go through our finished basement to complete the installation of the piers. The crew took care of everything and within 3 days all the work had been completed and the entire team (Victorino Joya, Ernosto Castillo, Daniel Yacilo, and Jose Rafael 6) was out of the house. Rudy went out of his way to make sure that there would be no damage to the interior or exterior of my house. Again, fantastic customer service. Highly recommended company!

I am writing to call out the excellent job done on our basement in Staunton by the crew of David Coffer, Bryan Conklin and Taquan McCoy. It was a daunting project because of a flooded basement and everything completely iced over. They had to chop a 40 foot path through 6 inch ice to even reach the basement and then they had to drain 3 inches of water before they could start. There was not one word of complaint about any of this and it was truly pleasant just to be around them while they were working. They did a thoroughly professional job and seemed to enjoy doing it. Thanks, guys.

It's very rare to find a service provider these days who look out for you like JES Foundation Repair did for me. Look at my reviews, I've been doing this a while and I don't mind calling them like I see them. I went into this with GREAT trepidation. I have had so many service providers try to overcharge, never call back, talk over my head, just fill in the blank. In EVERY point of this effort I was blown away. They should get an award for customer service for the communication alone! I set up an inspection and they sent me a confirmation. Beforehand, I got a note. On his way, Corey gave me a call. Then, when he arrived I had a true expert on my hands. Like a CSI episode he gave the problem a detail investigation. Here I am worried about all the other service work I've had done. Corey gave me his professional assessment, we discussed it, and away we went. At no point in my entire experience with JES was I let down. I am a phenomenal fan and will always highly recommend them for your foundation needs.

Once the job was scheduled and that date arrived, the install crew of Jaime Castillo, Joel Larios, and Cesar Zafra came and immediately went to work. I had my crawl space encapsulated. We had a problem with moisture seeping through the cement blocks of the crawl space, which then allowed mold to grow. Freddy, Jesus, and Juan did a great job with the installation. They were efficient and the process only took a few hours. Justin the electrician was also really great. And Steven our salesman was very helpful and informative. The price was fair too. I would recommend JES Foundation if you need your crawl space encapsulated.

I had an issue with what I thought was an awful leak behind my vanity. I called on Friday LATE afternoon, and the sweet receptionist Jorden was very empathetic and was able to get me seen within a day. Lee was AMAZING. He knew everything and was able to recreate the noises I heard and reassure this busy mom here that does nothing but worry that we didn't have an issue. He went into details over and over for me, and was so patient and so nice. I will never hire another company other than these guys. Our house was starting to make noises and I noticed drywall cracks. At first I assumed this was from my dinosaur footed stomping children…
Our house was starting to make noises and I noticed drywall cracks. At first I assumed this was from my dinosaur footed stomping children but these symptoms kept getting worse and so I decided it was time to start researching options. After a few google searches and reviews I reached out to JES and a few competitors. Mike Mele came out and sat with me and I explained to him what we were experiencing. He walked me around the house and showed me what was happening and where. He tested with a laser level and proved that the back side of our house was sinking and then we went into the crawl space. Mike inspected all of the support beams and showed me exactly where there was separation from the beams and how it was affecting the house. I was given a presentation of what JES could and would do. Mike explained to me that their system does not guarantee the house being level, but that the house would not sink any further. Price was fair compared to competitors, and after being offered a 3 year maintenance plan, I requested adding the 5 year maintenance plan instead. JES said they would contact me every 6 months to slowly adjust the jack beams as needed. Deposit paid, contract signed. Permitting took around a month or so. I have nothing nice to say about the county I live in. They are slow and as they are government entities, inherently and completely inept. I was put on the schedule after a few follow up emails between JES and myself. Install was hopefully a 2 day period, IF, the county finished inspections. Day 1 of install, our installer, foreman Abdul Kargbo came out and got to work. He was ready by the afternoon with intentions of the inspector coming the next day to confirm the footer digs were correct. Next day, a Friday the inspector never came, even though he was scheduled, and the crew sat all day and did nothing all day waiting for him to come. Tuesday, the inspector finally came, albeit late, and approved the footers and Tuesday Abdul and Roman came back to do the work. They worked well into the evening to finish the job. Abdul requested a review and I told him that once the final inspection was approved, I would give one. I IMMEDIATELY noticed a difference in the way the floors felt and sounded. Items that were prone to shaking in cabinets were no longer making noise. Floor creaks that were annoying, but that we had gotten used to were gone. The house felt far more sturdy. My kids incessant stomping no longer shook pictures on the wall. The next day I called Mike back to let him know how everything went and that I was happy. I asked him about the final inspection timeline. Mike asked for a review and I told him the same thing I told Abdul. Once final was approved I would do so. Here begins frustrations for us. I don't hold JES entirely responsible for this however because the county staffed with government workers, I think JES could have been more aggressive on our behalf with the county. I understand JES has a delicate relationship with the counties and have to balance customer expectations with the ability to continue to operate at the behest of the counties they operate within. The county claimed they didn't have an engineering letter. These are basically liability transfers that keep the county inspectors from putting their necks on the line, but still enable to to collect the money. Within the packet that was posted to my door were all the engineering packet that showed the math, plans and a letter with a certification stamp. We had to go back and forth with JES and the county ourselves to get this moving faster. I do not believe the county didn't have this letter, or at bare minimum have enough to approve the project. I do know the county is inept. County approved the project in spite of them saying they didn't have plans. Which were included in the packet taped to my door. Due to my disgust with government, JES still gets a 5 star, regardless of the frustrations we had to deal with. Thanks Mike, Abdul and all the JES crew. It was great working with you. See you in 6 months for the check up!

Andre Williams from JES did a long-overdue and much needed inspection of my crawlspace upgrade done by JES. My crawlspace entrance is not very big and can be challenging. I do not feel comfortable attempting to crawl down there! He made sure that the sump pumps and air-handler were all plugged-in and operating—replacing the back-up battery, which was dead. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and efficient—I am so grateful to know that everything is working smoothly.

Mike came to carry out the annual inspection of our house to ensure no settlement had occurred since JES had fixed our foundation issues a few years ago. We had a great experience with JES! They came out and encapsulated our crawl space we have had ground water issues for a long time. Our crawl space was covered in water, mud, and mold. We have even had other companies come to give us a quote that refused to go down there. The work crew was amazing we had Cory m, Shaine C. And Chris jr out they were hard working on time and kind and very communicative. We even had questions after the job was complete they always responded. I was on the fence about hiring this contractor because of the mix reviews but I am happy we did I am no longer freaking out because I smell mold in my home. However this was a very expensive fix JES is not cheap but they got the work done

Hats off to the awesome crew that raised our foundation this week! They were professional, friendly, worked efficiently, and left my yard better than it was before they started. There were a few hiccups in the beginning but our foreman, Manuel Guzman, sorted things out and worked towards the best solution. His team, Jose Cruz, Mayro, and Ruben and him worked so hard. I was truly impressed with their skill and so thankful that this was the crew I got for this job!

JES performed a full encapsulation for me last year, and I was extremely happy with the entire process. Chris Jones came today for the first yearly inspection and he was so thorough. From the start, he explained the entire process to me, asked if I had any questions, took his time with the inspection, and then went over what he observed, with photos at the end. I appreciated everything he had to say, and he made me feel comfortable, comfortable that there had been no changes in the crawlspace, and everything was working as intended.

We are impressed the way they work together as team to removed all the debris out of the crawl space and get it prepare for installing the sub pump, black tubing and dehumidifier. The work they did as follow: Installed 2 inches insulation all around the foundation, dig trench around the perimeter for drainage and lay the black tubing and gravel on top , dig 2 holes 2ft deep for the sub pump, lay down white plastic bearers on top of the dirt , installed dehumidifier unit ,vent and crawl space new . Highly recommended Roberto, Eduardo, Suave, Denison to do your crawl space and there are “EXCELLENT TEAM “. Daniel, the electrical. I had a subsidence problem that was addressed by a multi-pronged approach, a series of push piers to stabilize the perimeter of the foundation and central supports to level central beams of my home's frame. The house is now stable. The crews that did the site work were careful of my property, courteous, and showed no aversion nor complaint to go the extra mile to hand dig where it was obvious that the heavy equipment could not be brought into my fenced-in property. The communication throughout the process was great and sales support was responsive and helpful. This company hires, respects, and assists veterans.
