Rick Smith provided a very thorough inspection of a foundation/moisture issue which has been plaguing one of the rooms in our home. Rick spent a total of four hours meticulously examining all aspects of what could possibly be causing the problem. He carefully explained his findings in a way that was comprehensible for individuals who worked outside of the construction industry. Ultimately, he determined that the issue was unrelated specifically to our foundation and provided tips on how to deal with our problem area, despite the fact that this would mean that JES would not be receiving our business. We really appreciated his time, attention, and honesty in finding a solution to our problem, rather than just pushing a product. Rick demonstrated patience and obvious expertise. For future issues that appear to have a foundation nexus, we will return to JES because of our amazing experience with Rick.

I would recommend JES Foundation Repair. Right from the start, I enjoyed working with Elizabeth in the planning of my project. She checked in throughout the entire process. Going in to the project, we knew it was a big project. However we ran into a few unforeseen difficulties, Dada, Cody and Pepe did a great job in communicating with me about the status of our project multiple times a day. While it took a little longer than anticipated, I am just so happy knowing my home is safe from the water that has been damaging my house.

I would like to commend the JES team(s) that repaired my foundation and flooring in Nov/Dec 2022. Conan B., Eric Z., Corey B., Cameron M. and David H. all worked extremely hard to repair my 1958 rancher and I am very pleased with the results.They were all genuinely determined to do their best work and I am completely satisfied with the result. It was great to see the teamwork and the rapport between the crew and the managers.I learned a lot from them about foundation repair and sagging wooden floors so that was a bonus! I recently had Celeste Curlee from JES out to my home in Frederick County, MD for an inspection related to a foundation and concrete repair project, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. Celeste was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough from start to finish. She took the time to carefully survey the property, explain what she was seeing, and walk me through the underlying issues in a way that was clear and easy to understand—no jargon, no pressure, just honest expertise. What stood out most was her attention to detail and her willingness to answer every question I had. She made sure I fully understood both the condition of my foundation and the recommended solutions, including why they mattered long-term. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical knowledge with such strong communication skills. If you’re in the Frederick County area and need an evaluation for foundation or concrete work, I highly recommend asking for Celeste. She made what could have been a stressful process feel straightforward and manageable.
