What an awesome experience we had with Groundworks and their representative, Kristian! Unfortunately, the work we wanted done couldn’t be done because of California codes and regulations, The experience with Kristian was everything that I had expected after listening to the owner of Groundworks on several podcasts, It is obvious this company culture is excellent and customer service first, a rare thing in today’s climate. I highly recommend Groundworks if you’re looking for thoroughness, excellence and quality.

They did awesome work at our house, and we just had the annual inspection done by Andre Williams and he was awesome. He walked us through everything he was inspecting, how everything looked, and answered all our questions. I couldn't recommended JES more

On June 20th I met an inspector named Michael Riskin who came to my house to complete a foundation inspection. The initial problem was my step was cracked and falling apart. I was afraid to walk upstairs. After the the inspection was done I informed his company could not complete the repairs but he didn't just say I am done we can't do the repairs. He took the time to explain the problem and gave me a solution with another company. I felt so comfortable and confident about moving forward with my next step with the help from Micheal. That's not it he also gave me some advice about safe and fixing my steps on my deck in which this was not part of his job. He did not know I had no idea how to go about fixing or get started with anything repairing of those stairs. He took the out of his schedule to text me the size and kind of nails to get and how far to go so I would not cause any more problems. Michael think you for being a caring person to a stranger who need help in more ways the knew. Thank you so kindly.

He walked me through the whole process, answered all my questions, and showed me photos of past projects. He followed up in a timely manner as I was going through several estimates and shared their price matching and other estimate details. In the end, I went with another company but his professionalism and thoughtfulness are a strong and bright reflection of JES and how they treat their employees and how their employees care about their company!

Foreman David Gaskins came to our house after our basement was waterproofed. Some water came in from a heavy rain and and a repair we were promised was not done. David inspected the waterproofing work and found what needed to be done to be sure water would not come in again. This has been a very stressful time for us but David has been wonderful and gone above and beyond to keep in constant touch with us and coming up with a plan on how to make the corrections. We are just so thankful that he is the one that came to our house to look at what the problem was. Your company is lucky to have him.

My experience was great. JB worked with us up front to get all of the preliminary things in place and help us understand what needed to be done, how it was going to be done, and was always accessible when I had questions. When the job got started there were two unexpected situations. They pivoted quickly, included me in the decision that needed to be made, and worked it from there. Jose led the work and was amazing. He was extremely helpful, took time to walk me through what was going to be done, answer my questions, and keep me informed along the way. Add to that his great attitude and it was a good experience all around.

I had my crawlspace encapsulated last fall, but one of the dehumidifiers indicated that the battery should be replaced. The service tech, Rick Holt, did a thorough inspection, checked both dehumidifiers and sump pumps, inspected my foundation and pointed out a couple of minor things that needed my attention. He went above and beyond my expectations. I would give him six stars if I could.

The next day, I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from JES, and we set a date and time for him to come to my home to check the problems I had with the work. I had my crawl space encapsulated. We had a problem with moisture seeping through the cement blocks of the crawl space, which then allowed mold to grow. Freddy, Jesus, and Juan did a great job with the installation. They were efficient and the process only took a few hours. Justin the electrician was also really great. And Steven our salesman was very helpful and informative. The price was fair too. I would recommend JES Foundation if you need your crawl space encapsulated.

After considering a number of contractors for our foundation repair, we chose JES. The team included a number of qualified folks, and the onsite team of Jose Rodriquez, Victor Croz, and Nicolas Levano did a great job for the 2 day project. They were prompt, answered questions, and installed 16 steel brackets to reinforce our basement walls. Time will tell, and the job should result in stabilizing the foundation for a very long time. The company obviously has depth, and solid resources to call on when needed. I recently had Celeste Curlee from JES out to my home in Frederick County, MD for an inspection related to a foundation and concrete repair project, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. Celeste was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough from start to finish. She took the time to carefully survey the property, explain what she was seeing, and walk me through the underlying issues in a way that was clear and easy to understand—no jargon, no pressure, just honest expertise. What stood out most was her attention to detail and her willingness to answer every question I had. She made sure I fully understood both the condition of my foundation and the recommended solutions, including why they mattered long-term. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical knowledge with such strong communication skills. If you’re in the Frederick County area and need an evaluation for foundation or concrete work, I highly recommend asking for Celeste. She made what could have been a stressful process feel straightforward and manageable.

He was prompt, courteous and professional. We did finally decide on the job, but unfortunately were unable to go through with the home improvement at this time. I do however recommend him if you are thinking of any type of foundation repairs.

I had a fantastic experience with Jeff from JES Foundation Repair. I was worried about separation in my baseboards and door trims, but Jeff was incredibly thorough during his inspection. He took the time to take measurements and photos, ultimately putting my mind at ease by explaining that it was just natural settling for an 8-year-old home. He didn't try to oversell me or use fear tactics. It’s rare to find that level of honesty—I’d recommend him to anyone!

This year Chris Phillips made the visit and he was very thorough and careful with the inspection. Then he checked the foundation around the house. Our Certified Field Inspector, Matthew Grosse, did an exceptional job!! After thoroughly inspecting our foundation and crawl space, he provided detailed photos of the entire area, walked us through the issues and gave us a comprehensive plan to mitigate the problems with our foundation and crawlspace. He explained the permit process, the work to be performed, and the expected outcome. He answered all of my questions and made me feel good about the project. Mike came to carry out the annual inspection of our house to ensure no settlement had occurred since JES had fixed our foundation issues a few years ago. The JES Team was fantastic! They accomplished encapsulation of 2 crawl spaces and installed a sump pump in the basement. Brian S.managed a great crew with Gio O.and David B. And added Cameron and Truman for a couple days. Brian showed me and explained what they accomplished each step of the way! They worked meticulously and cleaned up each day! They were informative, trustworthy, careful, and very pleasant to deal with! Jerry W, the electrician was great, too! We were very pleased to have JES accomplish this priority job for our home.
