I had a consultation with Paul Grauer yesterday, and I must say I was extremely impressed with how thorough and professional he was throughout the entire process. He took the time to clearly explain the company, the foundation repair process, and how the materials would be applied, ensuring I fully understood every step. What stood out to me most was the level of care and patience he showed during our conversation. He even encouraged me to call my wife so she could be included in the discussion and have all of her questions answered as well. At no point did I feel rushed — he made sure we were comfortable, informed, and confident in the process. That level of customer service and attention to detail is exactly what earned my business. I’m now genuinely excited to move forward with the repairs and appreciate the experience Paul provided.

My experience with JES for the most part was great! Mr. John Trak was my initial inspector who confirmed my fears, but showed me the best way to fix the problem. There were a few scheduling conflicts but once my crew showed up they completed my project in two days. Thank you Dustin my site lead, once he took control he showed up, and performed. Jordan, and Lewis were the other crew members they worked efficiently and smart. JES Foundation and Repair gave me peace of mind, a secured foundation, and added value to my home.

They especially did a great job on the custom door leading into the basement/crawlspace area of my home. JES reinforced and straightened a long, sagging load-bearing beam in my basement. Their crew was excellent: Freddy ******** (team lead), Walter ******** and Daniel ******* English was their second language but that was not a problem at all. They were skillful, fast and very polite. They were also detail oriented and extremely patient when I asked questions and suggested small changes during the process. They also isolated the work area with plastic sheets, protected my floors with anti-slip coverings and cleaned afterwards. They used high-quality, extra strong materials. Now my home's floor is flatter and feels much more rigid, which is great. My only minor concerns are that before the crew came, some of my calls to their office remained unanswered, and also they didn't bring the right beam when they came the first time, but they corrected it quicly. My family and I are very happy with the results.

Our Certified Field Inspector, Matthew Grosse, did an exceptional job!! After thoroughly inspecting our foundation and crawl space, he provided detailed photos of the entire area, walked us through the issues and gave us a comprehensive plan to mitigate the problems with our foundation and crawlspace. He explained the permit process, the work to be performed, and the expected outcome. He answered all of my questions and made me feel good about the project. The work will be warranted for life and the warranty is transferrable. We also received a great military discount! Thanks to Matt for his expertise and personal attention!!

Very appreciate of the work done to solve water issues in my basement. Antoine Gant, Gerald Peoples, and Troy Griffin did a phenomenal job installing a drainage system and pump. Along with the installation work, they also helped clear all the sandbags away from the work area. I’m thankful for their willingness to go above and beyond the scope of the job. It was a huge help. They were tidy, patient, and open to answering any questions I had. After they were done they gave me very specific instructions on how to manage the work area. No complaints at all about the work these gentleman did in my home! Blessings.

My Overall experience was great. Michael, Tyler and Jebediah were friendly and did a great job. Michael answers all my questions. My only complaint is the company didn't notify me that they weren't coming on the day scheduled because of a permit problem. I had to reach out to the project manager because they never showed up. I called and left my name address and phone number and never got a call back. But Nathan let me know it's was rescheduled for the following week. The work is completed and looks great. Just follow up with your customers if there is a delay.

I have had a great experience with JES! It started with my annual inspection with Joey Guth who did the inspection and he found a couple of issues! He showed me pictures and explained the solutions! He also presented me with an estimate for the repairs! Once I accepted the estimate! It was only a couple of weeks before JES could get the permits and a crew ready to. One do the work. The crew was Luis and Jose! They showed up on time and were very courteous and respectful to my concerns. Luis showed me pictures of the work and was able to explain exactly what they had done to stabilize the foundation of my house! They left my yard clean! I am very pleased with JES and the employees that I interacted with!

I had 3 intelijacks installed in a day w/ minimal cleanup. They were friendly, efficient and knew how to do this based on engineering plans. Jesus Baires, Freddy & Walter Zavaleta know what they are doing so if they arrive, . . . . you are in good hands. They cleared up my misunderstanding and were very understanding. The cost of installing is a bit pricey but it will be done safely and at code. Get Gerald to do your estimate and engineering. He knows his stuff!

JES Foundation Repair had the lowest pricing and the fastest response time–and I consulted with several other waterproofing companies that said there's no way any company would do the job at that price! I hired JES Foundation to waterproof the exterior of my home and install a crawlspace dehumidifier. The crew of Henry A. Portillo, Jose Rubio, and Jose R. Garcia did a great job of digging down to my footers, putting membrane and drain tile, and then backfilling the exterior. We had some miscommunication about the scope of the work, but Rudy made sure to send another crew and get the work done exactly as I expected it. And then Rudy sent both a mason and a handyman to fix any damage that was done by the Bobcat. I'd highly recommend JES Foundation Repair.

Celeste was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough from start to finish. She took the time to carefully survey the property, explain what she was seeing, and walk me through the underlying issues in a way that was clear and easy to understand—no jargon, no pressure, just honest expertise. What stood out most was her attention to detail and her willingness to answer every question I had. She made sure I fully understood both the condition of my foundation and the recommended solutions, including why they mattered long-term. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical knowledge with such strong communication skills. If you’re in the Frederick County area and need an evaluation for foundation or concrete work, I highly recommend asking for Celeste.
