First and foremost, I NEVER write reviews; however, I found it necessary in this case because the two young men who came to perform the work were true professionals. Foreman Michael Kuffour and Co-foreman Alan Brown arrived on time! They professionally introduced themselves. I felt immediately at ease because once I directed them to the area that needed repair, they quickly communicated operation issues and recommended changes so that the work to be performed was accurately understood in layperson's terms. They utilized precision measuring instruments and fixtures to measure the dimensions of finished work pieces: downspouts and sump pump operations. They were extremely conscientious and ensured that work complied with all relevant codes, standards, and job specifications. They followed procedures to maintain the work environment neat and orderly. Mike, the Project Supervisor, arrived. Mike was knowledgeable and provided information on further work and any materials and equipment needed. He communicated ways to gain efficiencies and more effective installation methods in collaboration with us (the customer), which I greatly appreciated so that we could meet the goals and work towards a final resolution to our water problem. He inspected the Encapsulation work under the crawl space also. Once the meeting was over, I felt secure that the remainder of the result would be proficiently performed and up to code. I recommend JES to anyone, for they provide A-1 work. The guys that they sent were tens (10) in every sense. For this, I give them five stars ***** . Thank You

I don’t usually leave reviews, but A1 Drain and Sewer definitely deserves one. I was dealing with a really stubborn clog that I couldn’t fix on my own, and it was starting to stress me out. From the first phone call, they were friendly and reassuring. The technician showed up right on time, explained what was going on perfectly, and got straight to work. You could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. Within a short time, everything was flowing perfectly again. What stood out to me most was how respectful and clean they were — no mess left behind and no pressure to add on extra services. Just honest, solid work. If I ever have another drain issue, I won’t even think twice about who to call. Highly recommend!

Very appreciate of the work done to solve water issues in my basement. Antoine Gant, Gerald Peoples, and Troy Griffin did a phenomenal job installing a drainage system and pump. Along with the installation work, they also helped clear all the sandbags away from the work area. I’m thankful for their willingness to go above and beyond the scope of the job. It was a huge help. They were tidy, patient, and open to answering any questions I had. After they were done they gave me very specific instructions on how to manage the work area. No complaints at all about the work these gentleman did in my home! Blessings.

During my annual inspection March 27, 2026, it was determined that my property required several jacks to address a settling issue. This discovery led to the need for a professional installation to remedy the problem. On April 15, 2026, I had the pleasure of meeting my installation crew: Shakeen B, Darnell L, and Benard M. They contacted me beforehand to let me know when they would arrive. Upon their arrival, the crew explained in detail what the installation process would entail. Their clear communication ensured I understood each step before the work began. The crew promptly began the job, completing all tasks efficiently. Once the work was finished, they thoroughly cleaned up the area. Photos were taken of the completed work, and I was advised that these would be sent to me for my records. Additionally, the crew informed me about the timeline for their return visit to inspect the newly installed jacks. All JES personnel have consistently demonstrated professionalism and courtesy. They keep clients fully informed throughout the process, ensuring transparency about all work being done. Based on my experience, I highly recommend JES to anyone in need of foundation repairs. Since we had a maintenance contract we did not have to pay anything for today’s visit. We did renew our contact as the house is old and needs to have everything checked yearly. Our technician CJ Pedroza was very personable and I would highly recommend his services. We will be needing new pipes under the house as we still have the original cast iron pipes when the house was built in 1964. In addition to the main pipes being checked all the indoor pipes (bathroom/kitchen) plus the hot water heater flushed. All this was included in the service contact. Well worth having. A-1 Sewer and Drain is a great company!

My husband and I had Nick and Blake come out to look at a house we are considering buying. These guys were awesome at putting together a game plan to fix this basement. They had a great presentation to show me why the basement had water coming in it and why the wall was caving in. They also showed me how this could be fixed and that this would be a smooth process. I am very convinced that this is the company that we need to use to fix this issue.
