Within three days of calling, JES had Chad onsite to do a thorough inspection. Based on our introductory conversation, I could tell Chad was very knowledgeable and experienced. He spent nearly two hours inspecting my home to identify the cause of the issue I was experiencing. Upon completion, Chad informed me that he and JES could not help. They couldn't help because the problem was not with my basement or foundation walls. Rather he pointed out two downspouts and a grading issue under the down spouts that were caus of my issues. It is not very often I have run across a true professional like Chad who did not put profit over honesty. Because he was honest, I have likely kept thousands of dollars in my pockets and JES Foundation Repair has earned my respect, my honest review, and all future references I make for them to friends and family in the area with foundation issues. Thank you Chad and JES for your ethics, honesty, and promptness! – Dave H

Our water heater had started leaking Called A1 Sewer and they came out the same day, checked and as we already knew, it needed to be replaced. Next day, they showed up early and replaced the water heater in about 2 hours. They did a great job. We noticed a small leak after the guys left but we called and they came back and fixed it. We've had no more issues. I highly recommend calling them.

JES sent Marcelo Flores to do the initial inspection and he helped me understand everything I needed to do to make the solution successful. Marcelo even responded to text messages when I had questions later. The installation was done only a few weeks later by Quintin Holthaus, Damien Files, Dante McKenzie, and Eric Townes. These gentlemen discovered that my footer was an unexpected size and they went above and beyond to adapt to this. They were also very positive and polite at all times. They worked well together as a team. I am very impressed with JES and highly recommend them to anyone!

Yesterday we had JES come and fix my sidewalk where it had cracked. We were scheduled for 3-4pm. The field workers were down a guy and the jobs ahead of me took longer than planned. By the time TJ King and Carlos Silva got to my house it was already 7pm. I have to say I was amazed at their work ethic. They treated me like I was the first job of the day. They worked without a break and made my sidewalk look perfect. I did not hear one complaint come from either worker the whole time they were here. They left my house sometime after 11:30pm. The only complaint I would have would be with the home office communication (letting clients know that the field team will be late) and the Inspector not communicating how involved the job would be. I will def hire them again.

We had a major leak in our laundry room wall due to (what we would discover was) a broken washer drainpipe. A1 was very communicative and set up an appointment even while we were still fighting with our insurance. Dispatch kept us well informed on the day of our appointment. Patrick was very professional, knowledgeable, and was able to quickly identify and fix our problem. And the cost with parts and labor was still less than half of what our insurance deductible would have been. Highly recommended.

I recently understood what the cracks in the walls meant. *sigh* I did some research and contacted JES Foundation. I got an immediate response and inspection date. The team sent Michael Kim to assess my issue. Now, finding out that your house is shifting is not good news. Why? Cost? Fear? Is my house going to sink? However, Mike (Michael Kim of the Manassas office in VA) (hope he doesn't mind if I call him Mike) was very good at keeping me calm. He was very knowledgeable, kind and patient. I appreciate his dedication to his clients and his attention to detail and overall professionalism. I appreciate everything that has happened up to this date. I suspect I will be happy with the overall service. Greatly appreciated.

I just wanted to send out a great review for Patrick and Jordan! They deserve 1000 stars ⭐️ They did a great job fixing my cracked water heater. They listen to all my concerns and my problems to help give resolution to this major problem. I especially wanted to say thank you to Jordan for all his customer service and kind words as he helped us through every part of our problem to the solution. I think the most amazing part is his great knowledge and his way to explain how things are going to happen and move forward to completion. As a first time homebuyer, these situations can be very scary. I definitely will recommend A1sewer and drain They have great technicians!

We called A1 the next morning, and they had a plumber out to us in a couple of hours. Jeronmy Nixson was amazing! We live in a newer home and our pest control service noticed the crawl space had high humidity. To protect our investment, we decide to encapsulate the crawl space. Christian Distler-Caravetta at JES inspected the crawl and provided a couple options. Upon purchase Christian had the job completed the following week, and in one day. Christian and the team were top notch, exceptional service! Since encapsulating we have noticed the indoor humidity and temperature are significantly less variable and our hardwoods are now unaffected by outdoor humidity changes. Many thanks to Christian! We are very grateful and highly recommend his service.

Interesting. I left a mixed Google review of JES a few months ago. They replied that they checked their records, I was not in their file, and to call them to follow up. The next day, I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from JES, and we set a date and time for him to come to my home to check the problems I had with the work. This person never showed up. Was he even with JES or was someone trying to scam me in some way? I searched his phone number online and nothing came up.

I was extremely pleased with the work that the men from JES foundation did. We had water seeping into our basement and they came and installed a french drain and also did some work with our gutters to extend them far out. Abdul W. found a root from a bush that was pushing against the wall and cut it off so it would not be an issue. He was very informative and educated me as the work was being done and pointed out problem areas they were going to fix along the way. The other men, Nilhon R. and Walter F. The men did a great job overall and cleaned up all of the mess afterward and I would highly recommend them.

I have had a great experience with JES! It started with my annual inspection with Joey Guth who did the inspection and he found a couple of issues! He showed me pictures and explained the solutions! He also presented me with an estimate for the repairs! Once I accepted the estimate! It was only a couple of weeks before JES could get the permits and a crew ready to. One do the work. The crew was Luis and Jose! They showed up on time and were very courteous and respectful to my concerns. Luis showed me pictures of the work and was able to explain exactly what they had done to stabilize the foundation of my house! They left my yard clean! I am very pleased with JES and the employees that I interacted with!

JES stabilized our house foundation which is in sandy soil close to tidal water. The supervisor, Moises Paz came to the house several times prior to the repair to ensure the engineer had a clear understanding of the problem. He stayed in touch every step of the process. The crew Foreman Jaime Castillo and his team Antonio Canales and Jason Morales were very professional. They put down sheeting to protect the lawns and were careful around the shrubs. Mr. Castillo explained everything he was doing and why. They cleaned up, added top soil and seeded. Very satisfied. We recommend JES and Mr. Paz for any foundation work in Maryland.

Each team member knew his role and executed it exceptionally well; their teamwork and skill made what initially seemed like a complex job unfold with impressive ease. JES did a fantastic job on our foundation repair! Tice was an absolute pleasure to work with. He spent 3 hours under our house and took over 200 pictures of the damage. Then he spent another 2 hours answering all our questions and explaining the process of repairing the damage and preventing it from happening again. Even though it was a daunting situation, Tice made it palatable and eased our anxiety. Juan and his team were terrific. They worked hard to get the job done and they left no mess! We now have a completely secure foundation and crawl space. It’s actually pleasant to go under our house now! I highly recommend JES to anyone who needs foundation repair. I have already recommended them to my neighbors and friends!

I had 3 intelijacks installed in a day w/ minimal cleanup. They were friendly, efficient and knew how to do this based on engineering plans. Jesus Baires, Freddy & Walter Zavaleta know what they are doing so if they arrive, . . . . you are in good hands. They cleared up my misunderstanding and were very understanding. The cost of installing is a bit pricey but it will be done safely and at code. Get Gerald to do your estimate and engineering. He knows his stuff!

They conducted a thorough inspection of moisture levels in my crawlspace and advised on my concerns about potential clogged drain tiles in my garage and what to monitor. Hats off to the awesome crew that raised our foundation this week! They were professional, friendly, worked efficiently, and left my yard better than it was before they started. There were a few hiccups in the beginning but our foreman, Manuel Guzman, sorted things out and worked towards the best solution. His team, Jose Cruz, Mayro, and Ruben and him worked so hard. I was truly impressed with their skill and so thankful that this was the crew I got for this job!

CJ Pedroza was the A1 technician sent to replace my garbage disposal. He arrived on time, was pleasant and neatly dressed in uniform shirt and had a badge clearly identifying himself. He got to work immediately, had some issues removing the old disposal which he resolved quickly and completed the new customer furnished disposal in about 45 minutes. He vacuumed up and took away all the old unit and trash. I would give him 5 stars.

Danny and his assistant Bryan did a phenomenal job of removing our aged cast iron drain and replacing it with 60+ ft of PVC. These guys are true professionals in their trade and their workmanship speaks volumes for the pride they have in their work. I was kept me abreast of the project from start to finish so there was no surprises. They ensured the work area was safe at all times and cleaned up the area at the end of each day. These guys worked hard through this rainy and cold multi day project into the evening to ensure the impact to our home was minimal. He was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and upfront. He provided a full inspection of my crawl space with a video showing exactly where the issues were with my insulation and mold.
