We had JES repair one side of our sinking foundation years ago and they did a fantastic job. When we recently saw wall cracks on the opposite side of the house, we immediately called them. They are incredibly responsive and so trustworthy. Jay came out, did a thorough inspection, and explained that we had a door problem, not a foundation problem. He also confirmed that JES’s years old fix our our foundation is perfect. We are so relieved to have the piece of mind that JES provides and appreciated Jay’s professionalism, comprehensiveness, and the fact that he went above and beyond (he even did a temporary fix for my door!).

JES stabilized our house foundation which is in sandy soil close to tidal water. The supervisor, Moises Paz came to the house several times prior to the repair to ensure the engineer had a clear understanding of the problem. He stayed in touch every step of the process. The crew Foreman Jaime Castillo and his team Antonio Canales and Jason Morales were very professional. They put down sheeting to protect the lawns and were careful around the shrubs. Mr. Castillo explained everything he was doing and why. They cleaned up, added top soil and seeded. Very satisfied. We recommend JES and Mr. Paz for any foundation work in Maryland.

I had forman Charles and installers Hunter, Ricco, and Rock come out and encapsulate my crawl space today. The guys were prompt, professional, and very polite! I highly recommend their work (they need a drone to help with photos in tight crawlspaces like mine lol). This is a huge expensive project, but a heck of an investment. Dont hire your cousin to do this job (the previous owner of my house did this, my floors sag and i had mold on my joists), hire professionals, I highly recommend the JES crew. I will tell all my friends to go with JES if they have foundation issues. 10 out of 10! Thanks again guys!!!

Rick Smith provided a very thorough inspection of a foundation/moisture issue which has been plaguing one of the rooms in our home. Rick spent a total of four hours meticulously examining all aspects of what could possibly be causing the problem. He carefully explained his findings in a way that was comprehensible for individuals who worked outside of the construction industry. Ultimately, he determined that the issue was unrelated specifically to our foundation and provided tips on how to deal with our problem area, despite the fact that this would mean that JES would not be receiving our business. We really appreciated his time, attention, and honesty in finding a solution to our problem, rather than just pushing a product. Rick demonstrated patience and obvious expertise. For future issues that appear to have a foundation nexus, we will return to JES because of our amazing experience with Rick.

Crew placed a French drain, new sump pump, water sealed foundation wall and replaced sump pump at rear of house in 2 days. Prompt, courteous and thorough answers to questions. Team included Derrick trask, Kean Smith, Ronnie west and Ron and even field supervisor Jason and sales rep Phil Dutton. Pre work construction marking coordination by office rep Charles. I moved into my home just over a year ago and have had three basement floodings. After trying to figure out the solution on my own, I gave JES a call. Best decision I ever made. I am a very satisfied customer of JES. I contacted the company regarding concerns my husband I had concerning a few cracks in my wallboard, tape pulling away and spongy floors. My initial contact was with Kyle Clayton, Contractor Representative, we talked at length about what was needed to correct our concerns. He went under my home, took photos and shot level lines and I was told the house had a small amount of settlement that was causing my problems and to fix the spongy floors, I was told what was needed and explained how all would work. I agreed to the work, an appointment was set up that day as to when the work would start. I received an e-mail from the company telling me of the person that would be following my job and she would be my contact person for any questions and or complaints. I am happy to say I never had to contact her. I received a phone call reminder as to when the crew would show up to do the repairs and the crew called me that day that they were on their way and would arrive at the time agreed upon. I had 4 steel beams put in with 7 large steel jacks for support. The cracks are repaired to the point that when the wall patch work is done, it will stay repaired and I no longer have spongy floors. The floors are solid and strong feeling. So much better! I would like to thank JES and their crew that did the work under my home. They had a hard job and did it in a friendly, courteous, professional manner. Any question I had was answered on the spot and the Supervisor came to the job every day to be sure everything was being done to my satisfaction and to also answer any questions I had. I would like to thank the Field Superintendent Everado Copado and the crew, Roberto, Fausto and Carmilo for your hard work and leaving my home in better shape than before you arrived. Everything was left clean and tidy and I appreciate your help! Thank you!

Jay came out to my house to conduct a free estimate to see if some of the cracks in my foundation were symptomatic of a larger problem, or were anything to worry about. He was very professional, took some measurements – including with a laser level – and looked around for any additional signs of a foundation issue. He took the time to explain things to me, and really helped me understand my foundation, terminology, and things to watch for! He helped to point out that I wasn't in any danger from the issues I saw, and gave me helpful advice on ways to make sure it stays that way! Would highly recommend JES to anyone (and would come back to them if I ever have any other issues), but especially would recommend to first time homeowners who have questions and want a straight up and honest answer on their issues!
