Fantastic job from start to finish. Brandon was very helpful in scoping the work required. Brandon and Roosevelt did an amazing job shoring up our house working in the very tight confines of our crawlspace. Provided regular information on progress and completed the work on time. Chris Phillips was amazing. He was friendly, knowledgeable and completely saved us from getting flooded in the crawl. We didn’t realize an outlet where one of the pumps was plugged into, was inoperable.. he could have just left it that way and told us to get an electrician – but he went above and beyond to actually find a solution until we could get an electrician to fix it. Which minimizes the emergency for us. Now we can take a day to get it fixed without the concern of flooding. Thanks Chris!

Time will tell for longevity, but we're happy. Engineer, Sean Wang, communicated everything quite clear and we understood what was going on. We needed more posts an the center beam of our house jacked up due to sagging. The three workers who came out, Mike Baines, Bryan Covell, and Brandon Pritt were all great. Very respectful of our property, really tried to keep everything neat and tidy. Answered all our questions along the way. Good job cleaning up. I love that they brought their own buckets (step up from other companies.) Again, all three installers of our new support posts were great and very polite. They did a great job from what we can tell.

When we bought our old house, the original weep tile had collapsed over time and ground water was seeping into our basement. We also had a crawl space from a 1920’s addition that was dry but needed sealing. Groundworks (which was Foundation Systems of Michigan at the time), did a great job. The perimeter of the entire basement was opened up for new drain tubing and the walls were covered with their vapor membrane. Amazing what a dry basement can do for a house. Since then, we’ve added on and required their services twice more. Always professional, conscientious about cleaning up afterwards (especially on the first job which was a big job), and willing to work with us on small updates. Dale and John are two excellent representatives for Groundworks and I highly recommend them.

What an awesome experience we had with Groundworks and their representative, Kristian! Unfortunately, the work we wanted done couldn’t be done because of California codes and regulations, The experience with Kristian was everything that I had expected after listening to the owner of Groundworks on several podcasts, It is obvious this company culture is excellent and customer service first, a rare thing in today’s climate. Chris Phillips from JES came out yesterday to upgrade my sump pump to a unit with a battery backup that would pump even if the power was out. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job removing the old pump and installing the new and improved setup. Chris’s workmanship was top notch as he connected all the plumbing and electrical controls. He tested it all out and now I have the peace of mind that the crawl space will stay dry even if we lose power during a storm. I highly recommend Chris and JES for your foundation and crawlspace work.
