Blake Snidow came over to inspect our crawlspace and boy he did an outstanding job. First- he was on-time, courteous, caring of our property, and friendly. Second- Blake was a true professional, explained what he was going to do, asked along the way, if we had questions. He spent a good amount of time with us going through the process..we are were so impressed, he made the sale. In my opinion, he deserves an award and I'm a hard person to impress! So I contacted JES to get a quote on crawlspace encapsulation. We were then contacted by Joseph McCullough. We made an appointment to schedule an inspection. He was prompt, courteous and professional. We did finally decide on the job, but unfortunately were unable to go through with the home improvement at this time. I do however recommend him if you are thinking of any type of foundation repairs.

Excellent customer service & explanation during inspection. I have a concrete slab with a large crack, and other signs of it having sunk in places. It's been overwhelming to wrap my head around how such a thing gets fixed (this is my first home,) and this appears to be an awful issue to have. I decided to start with Groundworks for an inspection. Booking was very easy. Brendan was my inspector, and he immediately made me feel comfortable & confident about the project. He called the day before to talk about my issue, & texted before arriving at my home. He was incredibly thorough in his inspection. He talked me through everything he was seeing & listened to my concerns. He had to explain A LOT to me about concrete & how it is effected by weather, water, soil changes, etc. He was patient & kind. He inspected the house inside and out, and we talked about the slab project & also my crawl space, which has issues that are likely effecting the slab. Brendan sat down & showed me several videos explaining what was going on with the slab & crawl space, and how Groundworks would go about fixing both. He even called one of his colleagues, a project foreman, to answer something he wasn't certain about. We spoke to the foreman together on speaker phone, so I could ask follow up questions & fully understand the best option for fixing my slab. Together, Brendan & Chris recommended we stabilize my slab as compared to lifting it, bc I have pipes inside the slab & I'm doing polished concrete for the final flooring. (we can make the floor level in that process). Stabilization will involve demo work to pull up the existing parquet flooring & drilling small holes in the concrete at various spots to inject the polymer which will replace eroded soil under the slab, fill any gaps where moisture & water have penetrated & thus, secure the slab. Brendan explained all the warranty & continued services they will provide to make sure the slab continues to be in good shape. The price was well below the number I had swimming around in my head. I thought it would be $30k or more, but it's approx $10k. I couldn't believe it. The work also can be done over 2 days, which blew my mind. The work will take place in a couple weeks. I will do a follow up review about that, and also the crawl space project. I feel comfortable with Brendan advising me on my house projects & confident in what will happen. I finally have piece of mind that my house will be fixed properly & not become the money pit nightmare I feared.

Had cold floors during the winter and wanted this fixed. Michael Berger came out and suggested encapsulating my craw space. Was very professional and answered all emails immediately. The guys who came out to do the work were very polite and professional. Had 2 separate teams come out and both teams where great. The crawlspace deffinently had its obstacles due to a addition being built previously and hard to get to areas. After the job was done lots of pics were takin so I could see the areas that were hard to get to. This was great because it insured me it was done correctly. The encapsulation looks great and worked well. Had a small coldspot still and was immediately contacted by Sean Wheeler to get this addressed . They came out for free to assure that my issue was addressed and that I was satisfied. Now my floors are warm and it's 25°. Don't be scared to go with the bigger company. JES Foundation is an amazing company and I highly recommend them.

Our Certified Field Inspector, Matthew Grosse, did an exceptional job!! After thoroughly inspecting our foundation and crawl space, he provided detailed photos of the entire area, walked us through the issues and gave us a comprehensive plan to mitigate the problems with our foundation and crawlspace. He explained the permit process, the work to be performed, and the expected outcome. He answered all of my questions and made me feel good about the project. The work will be warranted for life and the warranty is transferrable. We also received a great military discount! Thanks to Matt for his expertise and personal attention!!

Had a problem with our hot water tank not producing hot water. Our technician, Mike H., was straight forward and gave us our options. He even said if we wanted to find other prices that they'd price match (from certified companies). We decided with getting a new tank and thankfully we did because it started leaking while they were working on it. They came Tuesday to do their initial inspection, then came Wednesday to install out new hot water tank! Very happy with the service and friendliness. He also kept shoe covers on and made sure to keep doors closed since we have pets. Highly recommend

Jay came out to my house to conduct a free estimate to see if some of the cracks in my foundation were symptomatic of a larger problem, or were anything to worry about. He was very professional, took some measurements – including with a laser level – and looked around for any additional signs of a foundation issue. He took the time to explain things to me, and really helped me understand my foundation, terminology, and things to watch for! He helped to point out that I wasn't in any danger from the issues I saw, and gave me helpful advice on ways to make sure it stays that way! Would highly recommend JES to anyone (and would come back to them if I ever have any other issues), but especially would recommend to first time homeowners who have questions and want a straight up and honest answer on their issues!

JES repaired 7 slabs of concrete around my swimming pool. The entire operation was professional and timely from estimating and project management to scheduling and work performance. I received a written estimate for the work with a comprehensive scope followed by a contractual agreement including payment terms. Once I accepted the job, the company scheduled the work and maintained communication with me regarding the work. The day of the repair their crew showed up to the site led by Seth. They were courteous and knowledgeable about this work. They got busy immediately with great results. The slabs were jacked into their proper positions and then structural foam was injected through the slabs to support them in their correct locations. Seth and his crew completed the job and cleaned up the work area as if they were never there. The slabs look perfect and we couldn't be happier. Thank you JES!!
