Mike came to carry out the annual inspection of our house to ensure no settlement had occurred since JES had fixed our foundation issues a few years ago. He explained everything very clearly and made sure I could see for myself how the laser showed perfect alignment still. He was very thorough and most personable. I look forward to seeing him again next year.

Thank you God for connecting me with Mike at JES Foundation Repair. I came across this company’s ad randomly in a coupon book; said free estimate, so I thought why not and scheduled an appointment. I knew someone was coming out today to give me an estimate on restoring the foundation of my home, but Mike did so much more than that; he restored my hope. He was naturally authentic, extremely knowledgeable and explained everything in a way I could actually understand. Most importantly, it wasn’t just about making a sale, he told the truth. He truly believes in this company, the services they offer and the people he is helping. I appreciate him and all the above more than he knows. His spirit is what the world needs more of. JES performed a full encapsulation for me last year, and I was extremely happy with the entire process. Chris Jones came today for the first yearly inspection and he was so thorough. From the start, he explained the entire process to me, asked if I had any questions, took his time with the inspection, and then went over what he observed, with photos at the end. I appreciated everything he had to say, and he made me feel comfortable, comfortable that there had been no changes in the crawlspace, and everything was working as intended.

You can’t be cheap when it comes to foundation repairs. JES is expensive, but you have access to knowledgeable engineers and consultants (Andrew Sean Wheeler), and their crews are quick and competent (foreman Jaime Castillo and Joel and Erick). If you live near the Potomac and have issues with marine clay, go straight to JES.

Mike, Marquis, and William installed a new sump pump after an issue arose with the prior. They were super quick and efficient, and went out of their way to clean up after they were done. JES sent Marcelo Flores to do the initial inspection and he helped me understand everything I needed to do to make the solution successful. Marcelo even responded to text messages when I had questions later. The installation was done only a few weeks later by Quintin Holthaus, Damien Files, Dante McKenzie, and Eric Townes. These gentlemen discovered that my footer was an unexpected size and they went above and beyond to adapt to this. They were also very positive and polite at all times. They worked well together as a team. I am very impressed with JES and highly recommend them to anyone!

The entire JES team needs to be commended — Rafael Garcia, Jose Lovato, and Wilton Mendoza — the very fine crew — arrived on time and ready to do the work; they worked efficiently, effectively, and knowledgeably as a well-oiled team and "machine." They informed us of each step along the way and explained everything thoroughly and completely. They used pictures from their phones to help explain the process and what they were doing. After they finished their work, they cleaned up the work area, gave us all the written information we needed, explained everything — they were so informative, helpful, knowledgeable, kind, WARM and FRIENDLY! It's so nice to work with friendly, happy, smiling people! What an amazing staff — Ally at the office — thank you for answering our questions, being so efficient, providing assistance, and being so warm and friendly, too. The JES crew gave us the invaluable peace of mind that our basement will stay dry. No more worries about rain or mold or mildew or critters getting in! We give you 100 stars! All As, 100%!
