T. Jason DeBosky Was the inspector that came to my home to Address a problem I was having with my sidewalk. Jason took the time to explain how the problem I was having could be fixed. He was easy to talk to, very professional patient and knowledgeable. He Gave me opportunities to ask questions & he Provided answers that allowed me to make the decision to go ahead with the project. The day the work started the foreman Bryan Took the time to explain the different outcomes that could possibly happen after the sidewalk was lifted, He wanted to make sure that I fully understood the process and he too gave me the opportunity to ask questions, the answers he provided helped me to make the decision to go ahead with the project. He & the installer Seth were awesome, they were respectful of the property & vehicles making sure the vehicle was properly covered so that no debris would blow on it. . They both were skillful, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I am so very happy with the outcome of the work they performed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JES!

On June 20th I met an inspector named Michael Riskin who came to my house to complete a foundation inspection. The initial problem was my step was cracked and falling apart. I was afraid to walk upstairs. After the the inspection was done I informed his company could not complete the repairs but he didn’t just say I am done we can’t do the repairs. He took the time to explain the problem and gave me a solution with another company. I felt so comfortable and confident about moving forward with my next step with the help from Micheal. That’s not it he also gave me some advice about safe and fixing my steps on my deck in which this was not part of his job. He did not know I had no idea how to go about fixing or get started with anything repairing of those stairs. He took the out of his schedule to text me the size and kind of nails to get and how far to go so I would not cause any more problems. Michael think you for being a caring person to a stranger who need help in more ways the knew. Thank you so kindly.

My scheduled appointment with Cameron ******** from the Mobile, AL. branch was for 12:00 noon, and before the time of the appointment, I received a phone call from Cameron, who stated that he had finished early on another job in the area and wanted to see if I would like to have him come out sooner. I was very pleased to hear that and I was accommodating. Once Cameron arrived, he introduced himself and we sat down to go over the entire process of what the inspection was going to entail. Cameron was very professional, knowledgeable of the job, and a very polite man. After going over the process, Cameron asked if there were any questions I had for him or concerns I've noticed since the install. I did go over a couple of things that were noticed and I was reassured all would be investigated and corrected within the company's ability (Meaning anything outside of what they can do, won't be able to be done which, makes perfect sense). The process of measuring, analyzing, and making adjustments went smooth and quick. Cameron then sat back down with me to discuss his assessment of things and what was done. The appointment from the AFS company that is located out of Mobile, AL. was for my yearly inspection. This was the second interaction with AFS and each time, I have been very impressed and pleased. AFS does not disappoint and relying on them to correctly do the work on one of the most important jobs on a home, is why I love this company! This company is my "go to" for life, and so should it be for all that need this type of work done! Again, a big shout out to Cameron ******** for a job well done! Thank you!

I used Groundworks on a previous project on my home. They did such a good job on that project that when I needed some concrete slab leveling work done, knew who I was going to call. Wesley and Zechariah did a professional job and were very friendly and quickly completed the job. I will recommend Groundworks to anyone I know interested in foundation work.

I had my crawl space encapsulated. We had a problem with moisture seeping through the cement blocks of the crawl space, which then allowed mold to grow. Freddy, Jesus, and Juan did a great job with the installation. They were efficient and the process only took a few hours. Justin the electrician was also really great. And Steven our salesman was very helpful and informative. The price was fair too. I would recommend JES Foundation if you need your crawl space encapsulated.

I am very pleased with the professionalism, expertise, and courtesy of the JES foundation team. Roberto, Keith, and Jose explained the encapsulation process to my complete satisfaction! They informed me of their arrival each day and promptly started work.They provided me with before and after pictures of the project so I could see the scope of work performed. They took time to answer my questions in the middle of their work and ensured my understanding. They did a thorough job of cleaning up the work area and left contact information for follow up concerns. Excellent customer service & explanation during inspection. I have a concrete slab with a large crack, and other signs of it having sunk in places. It's been overwhelming to wrap my head around how such a thing gets fixed (this is my first home,) and this appears to be an awful issue to have. I decided to start with Groundworks for an inspection. Booking was very easy. Brendan was my inspector, and he immediately made me feel comfortable & confident about the project. He called the day before to talk about my issue, & texted before arriving at my home. He was incredibly thorough in his inspection. He talked me through everything he was seeing & listened to my concerns. He had to explain A LOT to me about concrete & how it is effected by weather, water, soil changes, etc. He was patient & kind. He inspected the house inside and out, and we talked about the slab project & also my crawl space, which has issues that are likely effecting the slab. Brendan sat down & showed me several videos explaining what was going on with the slab & crawl space, and how Groundworks would go about fixing both. He even called one of his colleagues, a project foreman, to answer something he wasn't certain about. We spoke to the foreman together on speaker phone, so I could ask follow up questions & fully understand the best option for fixing my slab. Together, Brendan & Chris recommended we stabilize my slab as compared to lifting it, bc I have pipes inside the slab & I'm doing polished concrete for the final flooring. (we can make the floor level in that process). Stabilization will involve demo work to pull up the existing parquet flooring & drilling small holes in the concrete at various spots to inject the polymer which will replace eroded soil under the slab, fill any gaps where moisture & water have penetrated & thus, secure the slab. Brendan explained all the warranty & continued services they will provide to make sure the slab continues to be in good shape. The price was well below the number I had swimming around in my head. I thought it would be $30k or more, but it's approx $10k. I couldn't believe it. The work also can be done over 2 days, which blew my mind. The work will take place in a couple weeks. I will do a follow up review about that, and also the crawl space project. I feel comfortable with Brendan advising me on my house projects & confident in what will happen. I finally have piece of mind that my house will be fixed properly & not become the money pit nightmare I feared.
