JES did an excellent job on our crawl space. We had water accumulating around the whole perimeter of the crawl space. We had also had a toilet leak causing black mold, which had been professionally cleaned up, but we wanted fresh insulation. The JES team arrived on schedule and worked diligently to remove the insulation above and the flimsy plastic that covered the earthen floor of the crawl space. They then laid rubber matting and white membrane over the dirt and put thick styrofoam on the walls. They dug a trench around the perimeter and installed 2 sump pumps and 2 dehumidifiers to deal with future water. Meanwhile a separate team arrived to put foam under our patio to stop it from sliding away from the house. Everyone called before they arrived and each member of this large team was always professional and answered all questions thoroughly. They cleaned up well each day which I thoroughly appreciate. I want to add that Brian Swain was an amazing leader and manager of his 5 to 7 man crawl space team. He kept the project on schedule, kept me informed about progress and what would happen when, and always made himself available to answer questions. Thank you, Brian! Bryan Rutherford did a great job putting foam under the patio and sealing where it meets the house. The crawl space team, Gio Ordonez, Mohamed Kamara, and Pedro Llontop worked hard each day and were always professional. Superintendent Demetrius Cooper came by to ensure everything was going well and he answered additional questions and made great recommendations. Overall the whole crew was excellent. I highly recommend this team, their dedication to doing the work well and their professionalism.

We just finished getting the underside of our house encapsulated by JES Foundation Repair. The whole process went flawless. I contacted them online and they sent Blaine Harvey to speak with us and give an estimate. We went with JES because we wanted a company who does this work for a living. Everything went smoothly. The communication level was awesome. Ibrahim and Jovone performed the work in below freezing weather. That's dedication. Their professionalism was top notch throughout. Excellent customer service & explanation during inspection. I have a concrete slab with a large crack, and other signs of it having sunk in places. It's been overwhelming to wrap my head around how such a thing gets fixed (this is my first home,) and this appears to be an awful issue to have. I decided to start with Groundworks for an inspection. Booking was very easy. Brendan was my inspector, and he immediately made me feel comfortable & confident about the project. He called the day before to talk about my issue, & texted before arriving at my home. He was incredibly thorough in his inspection. He talked me through everything he was seeing & listened to my concerns. He had to explain A LOT to me about concrete & how it is effected by weather, water, soil changes, etc. He was patient & kind. He inspected the house inside and out, and we talked about the slab project & also my crawl space, which has issues that are likely effecting the slab. Brendan sat down & showed me several videos explaining what was going on with the slab & crawl space, and how Groundworks would go about fixing both. He even called one of his colleagues, a project foreman, to answer something he wasn't certain about. We spoke to the foreman together on speaker phone, so I could ask follow up questions & fully understand the best option for fixing my slab. Together, Brendan & Chris recommended we stabilize my slab as compared to lifting it, bc I have pipes inside the slab & I'm doing polished concrete for the final flooring. (we can make the floor level in that process). Stabilization will involve demo work to pull up the existing parquet flooring & drilling small holes in the concrete at various spots to inject the polymer which will replace eroded soil under the slab, fill any gaps where moisture & water have penetrated & thus, secure the slab. Brendan explained all the warranty & continued services they will provide to make sure the slab continues to be in good shape. The price was well below the number I had swimming around in my head. I thought it would be $30k or more, but it's approx $10k. I couldn't believe it. The work also can be done over 2 days, which blew my mind. The work will take place in a couple weeks. I will do a follow up review about that, and also the crawl space project. I feel comfortable with Brendan advising me on my house projects & confident in what will happen. I finally have piece of mind that my house will be fixed properly & not become the money pit nightmare I feared.

Mike came to carry out the annual inspection of our house to ensure no settlement had occurred since JES had fixed our foundation issues a few years ago. He explained everything very clearly and made sure I could see for myself how the laser showed perfect alignment still. He was very thorough and most personable. I look forward to seeing him again next year.

JES has done an encapsulation of my crawlspace including a dehumidifier to control humidity. Chris Good did an excellent inspection and presentation of the work to be done. The job was done in a timely manner. The foreman, Zach, has excellent customer service skills and kept me informed of the job's progress to include a new crawlspace door. Both he and his team attacked this job with hard work on a very hot day and finished in one day instead of the original estimate of two days.
