We had a lovely free inspection with Chris Routten today. He was scheduled for 90 minutes to diagnose an issue with water leaking in our basement and we ended up taking 3 hours of his time! He was so thorough, finding some additional weak spots for us. He provided a solution to our current issue, as well as options we were interested to hear regarding some longer term fixes. The most relieving part is he was not super “salesy” – so I felt I could make the right decision for work to do now versus later. Highly recommend.

Roberto, Eduardo,Suave and Dennison did a OUTSTANDING JOB on our crawl space. We are impressed the way they work together as team to removed all the debris out of the crawl space and get it prepare for installing the sub pump, black tubing and dehumidifier. The work they did as follow: Installed 2 inches insulation all around the foundation, dig trench around the perimeter for drainage and lay the black tubing and gravel on top , dig 2 holes 2ft deep for the sub pump, lay down white plastic bearers on top of the dirt , installed dehumidifier unit ,vent and crawl space new . Highly recommended Roberto, Eduardo, Suave, Denison to do your crawl space and there are “EXCELLENT TEAM “. Daniel, the electrical. He is a very thorough installing the wiring and vey dedicated to his job. Thank you for all of your hard work.. Thank you, Virgil and Emma

When we bought our old house, the original weep tile had collapsed over time and ground water was seeping into our basement. We also had a crawl space from a 1920’s addition that was dry but needed sealing. Groundworks (which was Foundation Systems of Michigan at the time), did a great job. The perimeter of the entire basement was opened up for new drain tubing and the walls were covered with their vapor membrane. Amazing what a dry basement can do for a house. Since then, we’ve added on and required their services twice more. Always professional, conscientious about cleaning up afterwards (especially on the first job which was a big job), and willing to work with us on small updates. Dale and John are two excellent representatives for Groundworks and I highly recommend them.

JES did a great job fixing our front porch. It had begun to settle and sloped towards the house, which allowed water to leak into our basement during heavy rains. JES lifted the front porch and adjoining sidewalk and filled in some significant voids with the poly foam. They finished it off with some nice sanded caulk that looks much better than what was there before. Time will tell if the problem has been fixed. Will update the review after the next storm to see if the basement stays dry. All the employees from JES were friendly and professional, communicated well what to expect, and cleaned up after themselves. Working with this company has been a great experience. A note to potential customers: there is a $1600 job minimum for them to come out. Our original problem probably would have been less than that, but they inspected the sidewalk and foundation to see what spots needed improvement that they could add to the job to get us up to the minimum amount. I called another company that does similar work and they had a similar job minimum amount. We feel this was money well spent to solve our leaking basement problem, and we would have had to spend a similar amount with another company anyway.

A lot of companies do good work, JES certainly does. That's not what earned this 5 star review though. When unforeseen issues came up on our job they stepped up and got it done right! They've earned my trust and will be the first company I call if I ever need their services again, but not on my current property because they did such a great job they won't ever have to come back! JES sent Marcelo Flores to do the initial inspection and he helped me understand everything I needed to do to make the solution successful. Marcelo even responded to text messages when I had questions later. The installation was done only a few weeks later by Quintin Holthaus, Damien Files, Dante McKenzie, and Eric Townes. These gentlemen discovered that my footer was an unexpected size and they went above and beyond to adapt to this. They were also very positive and polite at all times. They worked well together as a team. I am very impressed with JES and highly recommend them to anyone!

My two year dehumidifier was leaking a lot of water. I called JES and the service tech (Aric Banks) did an excellent job of fixing the problem. He leveled the pump, cleaned the filter and drain tube and moved the pump to a new location so that the water from the pump would drain more efficiently.
