JES stabilized our house foundation which is in sandy soil close to tidal water. The supervisor, Moises Paz came to the house several times prior to the repair to ensure the engineer had a clear understanding of the problem. He stayed in touch every step of the process. The crew Foreman Jaime Castillo and his team Antonio Canales and Jason Morales were very professional. They put down sheeting to protect the lawns and were careful around the shrubs. Mr. Castillo explained everything he was doing and why. They cleaned up, added top soil and seeded. Very satisfied. We recommend JES and Mr. Paz for any foundation work in Maryland.

The team who fixed our support beams/foundation was wonderful. I can't say enough good things about Freddy ********* Walter ********* and Jaime ***** who did the repairs: they were friendly, timely, and did wonderful work. Also, the permit team at JES really helped us when we still hadn't received word from the city and it had been 6 weeks (and my husband and I had been sleeping on the couch and floor because the support beams were so bad under our room). JES Foundation Repair is best in customer service, knowledge – they know what they're doing and need to do and got the beam in my foundation replaced to my satisfaction with photos. Lee, the person I interacted with was excellent with service, inspection, quote and all around always called me back asap, worked on weekends, did everything he could to make this repair a 5 star experience. We had JES to repair 2 broken joists in our basement. Manny and Jose performed the work. They were extremely good, their work was clean, proficient and they went above and beyond to answer any questions and accommodate the existing ducts and pipes, etc. They were also very friendly and polite and left our home in perfect condition.

My original appointment was to be on a Friday at 2pm. JES texted me the Monday prior asking if I would like to change the appointment to Tuesday at 2, which was great. The inspector, Jay called early Tuesday to see if we could meet at 1130. Jay showed up on time and we immediately dug into the issue…a likely sunken corner foundation of my carport. Jay covered all the possible solutions, went thru the warranty, timing, cost, etc. At no point did I feel pressured to make a decision and Jay conducted himself in a pleasant and professional manor.

After deciding to stop using the plumbing company that I had been using for many years, due too many recent bad experiences, I found A1 Sewer and Drain on the Thumbtack app. After sending them a message on Thumbtack, I received a call from A-1 within about 10 minutes. They scheduled a next day appointment for me. The next morning I got a text message from A-1 that the tech was on his way and it even included a photo of the tech, Matthew. Matthew was professional and polite. He got the small job done quickly. I appreciate the entire experience and customer service that I received from A-1 and will continue to use them in the future.
