Our project manager Jonathan Cooper was beyond great, and his jokes weren’t too shabby either! He did a thorough job of inspecting/identifying the issue and providing a solution. He was easy to get ahold of in a pinch and made sure we had a clear understanding of what was being done and why. Our foreman Brandon Warren and his team (Roosevelt White, Tyler H., and Larry Jr.) were nothing short of amazing. They were super polite, provided clear communication/status updates, and were extremely efficient – completed an estimated 3-day job in our basement in a day and a half! I can’t recommend JES Works enough. Thanks to Cooper, Brandon, and his team, JES has a customer for life.

JES is just fantastic! I experienced water coming through my basement walls after two bad rainstorms last September; JES sales representative Adam Crall came later that month to generate a thorough estimate for waterproofing. JES was able to schedule the work for the three days before Thanksgiving. Foreman John Rector and crew members Darrin and Paibai were OUTSTANDING! They were very accommodating and understanding, patient with me who was very apprehensive about jackhammers in the basement (and about the dust potential!). They cleaned up thoroughly! Worth the expense! I recommend them without hesitation!

The team of engineers that JES sent out to stabilize our foundation were extremely hard working, committed to customer satisfaction and very professional. These guys worked so hard to get the job done right and when we needed them back to make adjustments and add additional jacks, they were just amazing to work with. The guys who did the work were Henry Ayala Portillo, Diego Ayala, Adrian Santillan, and Gaston Ellis and they were all very polite, professional and hard-working. JES stabilized our house foundation which is in sandy soil close to tidal water. The supervisor, Moises Paz came to the house several times prior to the repair to ensure the engineer had a clear understanding of the problem. He stayed in touch every step of the process. The crew Foreman Jaime Castillo and his team Antonio Canales and Jason Morales were very professional. They put down sheeting to protect the lawns and were careful around the shrubs. Mr. Castillo explained everything he was doing and why. They cleaned up, added top soil and seeded. Very satisfied. We recommend JES and Mr. Paz for any foundation work in Maryland.

I had a subsidence problem that was addressed by a multi-pronged approach, a series of push piers to stabilize the perimeter of the foundation and central supports to level central beams of my home's frame. The house is now stable. The crews that did the site work were careful of my property, courteous, and showed no aversion nor complaint to go the extra mile to hand dig where it was obvious that the heavy equipment could not be brought into my fenced-in property. The communication throughout the process was great and sales support was responsive and helpful. This company hires, respects, and assists veterans.

Paul came to my home to provide an estimate on insulation replacement. He called to inform me he was ahead of schedule and to get permission to arrive a little earlier. He was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and upfront. He provided a full inspection of my crawl space with a video showing exactly where the issues were with my insulation and mold. I felt he was very thorough and honest in his findings and I appreciate that even though the estimate was free, he did not try to force me to make an immediate purchase commitment.

I used Groundworks on a previous project on my home. They did such a good job on that project that when I needed some concrete slab leveling work done, knew who I was going to call. JES did a great job fixing our front porch. It had begun to settle and sloped towards the house, which allowed water to leak into our basement during heavy rains. JES lifted the front porch and adjoining sidewalk and filled in some significant voids with the poly foam. They finished it off with some nice sanded caulk that looks much better than what was there before. Time will tell if the problem has been fixed. Will update the review after the next storm to see if the basement stays dry. All the employees from JES were friendly and professional, communicated well what to expect, and cleaned up after themselves. Working with this company has been a great experience. A note to potential customers: there is a $1600 job minimum for them to come out. Our original problem probably would have been less than that, but they inspected the sidewalk and foundation to see what spots needed improvement that they could add to the job to get us up to the minimum amount. I called another company that does similar work and they had a similar job minimum amount. We feel this was money well spent to solve our leaking basement problem, and we would have had to spend a similar amount with another company anyway.
