Local Foundation Services Company Partners with Local Restaurant to Win the Fight Against COVID-19

Collaboration of Local Businesses Key to a Strengthening Virginia Beach Business Community.

Virginia Beach, VA (April 16, 2020) – The impacts of the pandemic have proven to be devastating to many local businesses. Few have been as affected as the restaurant industry. JES Foundation Repair is teaming up with Rockafellers to provide meals for dozens of essential employees and their families. On Tuesday, April 21, 2020, employees from the Virginia Beach branch of JES Foundation Repair will be visiting Rockafellers to receive a meal for a family of four at no cost to the employee. This program is known as the Serve and Support initiative. Every month, JES Foundation Repair will partner with a different local restaurant in the community to serve these family meals through the conclusion of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

“Local restaurants are truly feeling the impact of this pandemic. These are our friends and neighbors,” stated George Frates, Regional Manager Mid-Atlantic. “It was an opportunity to not only support our community partners but to also show appreciation of our team members who continue to serve our customers daily. We are proud to be able to both help these businesses and give back to our amazing employees and their families.”

The restaurant was chosen through feedback from the JES Foundation Repair employees. This is part of a national initiative led by JES Foundation Repair’s parent company Groundworks, where they are investing over $40,000 per month toward the Serve and Support program.
