JES Foundation Repair Helps a Deserving Family

Roanoke, VA (May 23, 2018)  – As part of the Home for Good annual partnership, JES Foundation Repair has joined Habitat for Humanity of Roanoke, NBC WSLS TV10, and other area businesses to provide a home for Teyauna Hayes and her two daughters. Habitat for Humanity is scheduling volunteer groups to assist with the construction every Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from May 12 – July 14. On Saturday, June 2, JES is sponsoring the effort and providing a team of volunteers.

“Our entire team of volunteers at JES are extremely excited about being a part of this valiant effort,” said Jackie Hoffman, Director of Training and Development. “Ms. Hayes works very hard to support her daughters and deserves to have a home of her own.” Hoffman is leading and organizing the volunteer team from JES Foundation Repair’s Roanoke and Lynchburg branches.

This year, throughout the Home for Good timeframe, Habitat will also organize groups to perform neighborhood clean-up and beautification and expand the impact of Home for Good from just one home to the entire block. These jobs may include general clean-up, alley clearing, yard work for neighbors, or simple outdoor home improvement projects like porch painting.

“We’ve had the rewarding experience of volunteering with Habitat for Humanity in other markets where JES has offices,” said Cary McGuckin, Chief Marketing Officer. “Their work parallels our company’s mission – to help protect and preserve the health of people’s homes and families.” Habitat for Humanity invites other business to get involved in this project or others to help make a difference in the community.
