JES Foundation Repair Honored with Prestigious “Roaring 20” Award

Virginia Beach, VA (Nov. 16, 2018) – JES Foundation Repair, a Groundworks company, has been honored with a 2018 “Roaring 20” award at the 9 annual awards ceremony held at the Westin Virginia Beach Town Center. The award recognizes Hampton Roads’ fastest growing middle-market companies and their contributions to the region’s economy. Sponsored by Inside Business magazine and the accounting firm of Cherry Beckhart, LLP, the Roaring 20 highlights accelerated regional growth, determination and perseverance by its winners.

To be eligible, a company must be headquartered in the Hampton Roads area, founded prior to 2015, have realized gross revenues of at least $2 million in 2017 and have experienced three years of exceptional growth. Cherry Beckhart, LLP conducts interviews with the finalists and verifies financial data. The information is then reviewed by an independent panel of local and university business leaders who select honorees based on revenue and employee growth. In addition, nominated companies are evaluated on factors that resulted in their growth, challenges, obstacles overcome and projected long-term sustainability.
This is the sixth time that JES has been selected to the Roaring 20 over the 9 years the award has been celebrated.
