Virginia Beach, VA (July 2, 2018) – Groundworks announced today that it has hired two seasoned foundation services industry professionals, Brian Black and Adrian Reddington, to lead training at its Groundworks University division. Groundworks University’s mission is to train and develop employees at the highest level, so they grow personally and professionally to provide customers with world-class service.
Brian Black, Groundworks’ new Director of Sales Training, brings a wealth of industry experience, having spent many years working directly in the foundation and basement repair space and for a product supply company, where he successfully developed and implemented programs that helped clients grow their businesses. In his new role, Black will be responsible for developing and leading the training curriculum for all sales managers and sales representatives across Groundworks’ locations in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Indiana. “I believe the success of a business is measured by how many people you serve and how well you serve them,” said Black. “I was drawn to Groundworks because their mission aligns directly with my beliefs. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to benefit our customers by providing the highest level of training, skills, and knowledge to our employees.”
Adrian Reddington, Groundworks’ new Director of Strategic Projects & Production Training, brings over 10 years of experience in the foundation services industry, previously working as Director of Operations for Virginia Foundation Solutions and previously as a Business Manager for JES Foundation Repair. His duties are to create and implement a world-class production training program for all of Groundworks’ field staff. The program will include testing and certifications to ensure all team members are ready to deliver the highest quality and service possible to our customers. Reddington will also provide support to all Groundworks’ office locations for operational improvement and future expansion initiatives. “The vision and mission at Groundworks is passionately pervasive throughout the organization to such a degree that it is contagious,” said Reddington. “I am proud to join this innovative team of professionals and I am excited to be part of nationalizing Groundworks Companies.”
Groundworks University was developed as a direct result of the rapid growth of Groundworks and its subsidiaries – JES Foundation Repair, Tar Heel Basement Systems, Mount Valley Foundation Services, and Indiana Foundation Service. The training and education division provides best practices training in all aspects of the foundation services business. The division is viewed by the company as an important competitive differentiator and is the only program of its kind in the industry.
“Groundworks University is an integral part of Groundworks’ mission to provide homeowners with world-class service,” said Kim McDonald, President of Groundworks University. “I am so excited about the addition of Brian and Adrian because of their vast industry experience along with their ability and desire to mentor and teach. This investment ensures the knowledge and skills of our employees is also an investment in our customers’ satisfaction. Education is the keystone to ensuring we are always providing our customers with the right solutions, solutions that ensure the homeowners’ issue is addressed correctly and permanently, the first time.”
