We just moved into a home that had driveway issues. Grounwirks came out and inspected a few weeks ago. James did a great job of explaining the process and showing us how it work. Today Colton and Andrew showed up to complete the job. We were amazed at the difference it made. We had multiple places that had dropped several inches. They took care of my drive, sidewalk and back patio. It really looks great and is no longer a safety hazard. Groundwork’s is a top notch company. Fast, efficient and on time as well as a great pice! The JES Team was fantastic! They accomplished encapsulation of 2 crawl spaces and installed a sump pump in the basement. Brian S.managed a great crew with Gio O.and David B. And added Cameron and Truman for a couple days. Brian showed me and explained what they accomplished each step of the way! They worked meticulously and cleaned up each day! They were informative, trustworthy, careful, and very pleasant to deal with! Jerry W, the electrician was great, too! We were very pleased to have JES accomplish this priority job for our home.

JES did a fantastic job on our foundation repair! Tice was an absolute pleasure to work with. He spent 3 hours under our house and took over 200 pictures of the damage. Then he spent another 2 hours answering all our questions and explaining the process of repairing the damage and preventing it from happening again. Even though it was a daunting situation, Tice made it palatable and eased our anxiety. Juan and his team were terrific. They worked hard to get the job done and they left no mess! We now have a completely secure foundation and crawl space. It’s actually pleasant to go under our house now! I highly recommend JES to anyone who needs foundation repair. I have already recommended them to my neighbors and friends!

We've used JES in the Richmond metro area twice in the past five years and have been very pleased with their work on both projects. In November 2019, they installed two push piers under a corner of our mid-1960s house that was sinking and installed a CrawlSeal encapsulation system in the crawl space. In September 2024, they installed a steel I-beam and two engineered jacks in the crawl space under a fireplace hearth that didn't have adequate support. Both projects involved working very close to the residential gas line. In both projects, the work was done very well and completed on schedule. Each employee has been professional, knowledgeable, hard-working, and very pleasant to deal with. On the most recent project, Cameron Flynn, lead jack installer, and John Trak, certified field inspector, were terrific. We trust JES employees and will not hesitate to call on them if we need them in the future.

Lee, the person I interacted with was excellent with service, inspection, quote and all around always called me back asap, worked on weekends, did everything he could to make this repair a 5 star experience. The crew, led by Seth, was polite, explained everything to me and got the job done. Highly recommend.

They conducted a thorough inspection of moisture levels in my crawlspace and advised on my concerns about potential clogged drain tiles in my garage and what to monitor. Rick Smith provided a very thorough inspection of a foundation/moisture issue which has been plaguing one of the rooms in our home. Rick spent a total of four hours meticulously examining all aspects of what could possibly be causing the problem. He carefully explained his findings in a way that was comprehensible for individuals who worked outside of the construction industry. Ultimately, he determined that the issue was unrelated specifically to our foundation and provided tips on how to deal with our problem area, despite the fact that this would mean that JES would not be receiving our business. We really appreciated his time, attention, and honesty in finding a solution to our problem, rather than just pushing a product. Rick demonstrated patience and obvious expertise. For future issues that appear to have a foundation nexus, we will return to JES because of our amazing experience with Rick.

Hats off to the awesome crew that raised our foundation this week! They were professional, friendly, worked efficiently, and left my yard better than it was before they started. There were a few hiccups in the beginning but our foreman, Manuel Guzman, sorted things out and worked towards the best solution. His team, Jose Cruz, Mayro, and Ruben and him worked so hard. I have had a great experience with JES! It started with my annual inspection with Joey Guth who did the inspection and he found a couple of issues! He showed me pictures and explained the solutions! He also presented me with an estimate for the repairs! Once I accepted the estimate! It was only a couple of weeks before JES could get the permits and a crew ready to. One do the work. The crew was Luis and Jose! They showed up on time and were very courteous and respectful to my concerns. Luis showed me pictures of the work and was able to explain exactly what they had done to stabilize the foundation of my house! They left my yard clean! I am very pleased with JES and the employees that I interacted with!

Addressed all concerns and answered every question showing their expertise in the field. They were very clean throughout the installation. Under the house was left better than before. We had plastic underneath but needed to be removed in order for them to work. Did not expect them to re-line the ground upon completion but they used heavy duty plastic as a replacement. This is greatly appreciated. It is always the little things that make the difference in projects to homeowners. I would like to also mention Jo in the Richmond area office. Was very helpful in getting the information on the account up to date and taking the payment over the phone. Very well spoken and appreciate the small chit chat. She was a tremendous asset. The field rep Elias Franco showed up on time assessed the problem and came up with a great solution. After his assessment the repairs were scheduled within a few days and the great crew of Pasi and Robert A. showed up early and were very professional and knowledgeable of the situation. Thank heaven for JES! Not only did they discover our sump pump had stopped working long ago, but they also recognized the work needed would be beyond just swapping out a pump. The intake lines had clogged and the tank was filled to the brim with unspeakable creepy black gunk. Other companies estimates didn’t include full removal of the crud or clearing intake/outflow lines. Then Ben, the installer arrived. He was 120% professional, respectful, eager, and friendly…even when he found a dead frog floating on the surface of the goop! You can tell that Ben really loves his work. It was joyful to witness his tenacity in getting that tank completely clean even though it took twice as long as was probably expected. And then near the end of the job, when verifying the lines were clear, another frog appeared. This time the frog was alive. Undaunted, Ben rescued and removed it. Throughout the process Ben inspired confidence in the quality and thoroughness of the work to be performed. I would recommend JES from beginning of the estimate process, scheduling communications, through job complete.

We were very pleased with the prompt, courteous, efficient and professional response for service on our Basement Dehumidifier Unit performed by Christopher Phillips on behalf of the JES team today. The unit was initially expertly installed by Andrew Alman with JES and has performed exceptionally well until recently. Mr. Phillips was able to perform a comprehensive diagnostic survey to uncover a problem and to restore complete function. Within minutes our ambient relative humidity was restored and our basement environment improved. JES is fortunate to have Mr. Phillips on the team and we greatly appreciate competent and professional attention to customer service .

Damon T came up with a convincing sales pitch, and we were impressed by the thoroughness of the plan. We ended up declining one small portion of Damon's original plan – after consultation with Tash and his team during the installation process. The company took the full price off our bill. The crew of Tash, Justin, Maurice, and Drew were highly professional in their 2-day stint at our house waterproofing the basement. Very pleased with how they answered our questions. The team had a disagreement with another part of the original sales plan, but their plan ended with a much better solution for our basement. The original plan had the bottom of our carpeted stairs to be torn up, but crew leader Tash had a much less destructive action plan. We are very impressed by the way they tunneled the drains from room to room with little or no extra destruction. The team also worked very hard both days, taking very few breaks and maximizing their time here.Our only suggestion would be for the original salesperson to have either face to face or telephone discussion with the work team leader prior to the team coming out. What is projected on paper may not always be the easiest plan to carry out. Tash made many good points that led to a better final product from our perspective.All in all, we were pleased with this company's product, from Damon's sales pitch to Tash's team's installation. Great guys all, friendly, professional, and very polite! Thanks for a great experience!
