I recently understood what the cracks in the walls meant. *sigh* I did some research and contacted JES Foundation. I got an immediate response and inspection date. The team sent Michael Kim to assess my issue. Now, finding out that your house is shifting is not good news. Why? Cost? Fear? Is my house going to sink? However, Mike (Michael Kim of the Manassas office in VA) (hope he doesn't mind if I call him Mike) was very good at keeping me calm. He was very knowledgeable, kind and patient. I appreciate his dedication to his clients and his attention to detail and overall professionalism. I appreciate everything that has happened up to this date. I suspect I will be happy with the overall service. Greatly appreciated.

I really like that they have an internal engineering team at their company that calculates the amount of correction needed for the repairs. Abdul was very responsive and professional from the start. He arrived on time, walked me through the entire process, and made sure I understood everything clearly. I never felt pressured into making a purchase — instead, I felt like he genuinely cared about my concerns and wanted to provide the best solution for my situation. He took his time answering all of my questions and explaining each recommendation thoroughly. I was initially skeptical about one of the suggested services, but after speaking with him and hearing his knowledge and expertise, I’m confident moving forward. I found myself in the unfortunate situation to have a wall in my basement stabilized as it was gradually falling in. I had many options but chose JES Foundation Repair. What a fantastic choice! I received a phone call and a text message from the job foreman Joel Grade about 30 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive to start the work. Joel and his crew, to include Bryen Hailey and Karon Sherman arrived and were extremely professional from the jump. They explained the scope of the work, and made a conscious choice to minimize any impact to the rest of the house as they completed the job. The job took two days to complete and the guys walked me thru what was completed on each day, and were sure to make sure I had no concerns. Service Tech Brandon H cae for my yearly inspection of the wall braces and sump pump. Brandon was ever the orofessional as we reviewed my covered services and explained some other options for me to consider for the future. The braces were fine, the in checking the sump pump, we found it needed to be replaced. Brandon thoroughly explained the situation and replaced my sump pump in timely fashion. I am only giving Ground Works a 4 star review because of the Gentleman who did the job. Kidd Smith and the crew he was with did AMAZING work and were extremely helpful and respectful in every way!!! I can’t say enough about how amazing their work was. When it comes to the actual company itself they are very arrogant, never did I receive a call back when I needed to speak with them. I had contacted them 2x and NOT ONCE did they return my calls or even acknowledge that I had called. The supervisor “Dan,” was very arrogant on the phone when he accused me of trying to not pay!! Then a Kate called me not long after asking about payment and was not very nice and obviously can’t hear. I explained that when the job was finished I would then write out the check for the remaining balance and that paying over the phone through debit or credit card was not an option. This was explained from the beginning when I sat down and signed all the paperwork and contract. They are not very professional and they definitely don’t know how to communicate between themselves or with clients!!! Kidd Smith and crew Thank you for the AMAZING job done on my sidewalk!!!!

Had cold floors during the winter and wanted this fixed. Michael Berger came out and suggested encapsulating my craw space. Was very professional and answered all emails immediately. The guys who came out to do the work were very polite and professional. Had 2 separate teams come out and both teams where great. The crawlspace deffinently had its obstacles due to a addition being built previously and hard to get to areas. After the job was done lots of pics were takin so I could see the areas that were hard to get to. This was great because it insured me it was done correctly. The encapsulation looks great and worked well. Had a small coldspot still and was immediately contacted by Sean Wheeler to get this addressed . They came out for free to assure that my issue was addressed and that I was satisfied. Now my floors are warm and it's 25°. Don't be scared to go with the bigger company. JES Foundation is an amazing company and I highly recommend them.

Overall very happy with JES. Communication from the firm was timely and responsive from quote to final inspection. I was especially pleased with the guys who worked on site- Brian, Gio, Mohammed, and Davey did a great job getting the work done quickly and thoroughly. They went above in beyond in making sure the work was done (even repairing some undiscovered foundation cracks). The electrician stayed late to make sure everything stayed on schedule. Overall, would recommend. They install a premium product with service to match- while it's expensive, it's high value (and they can help you get 2 year no interest financing.)

He offered me a payment plan option for the work that is affordable whenever I’m ready to move forward. I greatly appreciated JES did NOT charge me for an estimate it was free! (when I called BAY Crawl Space & Foundation they were going to charge me $500 just for an estimate because my home was built in 1920) Because of the information Taylor Jeffries from JES gave me I know my next steps moving forward and what to expect when getting the foundation on my home repaired, Thank you so much!

Our home had some foundation issues and JES provided a very thorough assessment and fair quote for the work. They took care of all of the prework requirements (permits, soil samples, etc.) and showed up on schedule to execute the placement of half a dozen push piers along one side of our home. The crew (Mr. E. Aguilara, Mr. A. Fernandez, and Mr. J. Diaz) provided outstanding customer service, took great care to avoid our irrigation lines during the excavation process, and kept our family informed every step of the way. Upon completion of the work, they left the site in great condition and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. I highly recommend this team!

I would recommend JES Foundation Repair. Right from the start, I enjoyed working with Elizabeth in the planning of my project. She checked in throughout the entire process. Going in to the project, we knew it was a big project. However we ran into a few unforeseen difficulties, Dada, Cody and Pepe did a great job in communicating with me about the status of our project multiple times a day. While it took a little longer than anticipated, I am just so happy knowing my home is safe from the water that has been damaging my house.

I contacted JES Foundation Repair to fix my sinking driveway and I was completely impressed by the professionalism and dedication demonstrated by everyone I met. Bryan Rutherford and Morgan Oakley arrived at my home right on time. They were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They started working right away, also took the time to thoroughly explain to me the entire process and gave me an accurate estimated time of completion. When the job was about 90% finished, unfortunately a piece of equipment broke down. They finished the remaining tasks as much as they could, cleaned the worksite and promised to come back a week later to complete the job, as soon as the faulty equipment was fixed. To my surprise, Bryan called me the next morning and told me that he’d be back on that day, as he was concerned about the unsealed area of the driveway and wanted to take care of it right away. He managed to find a workaround, drove to my house (out of his way) and completed the remaining job. They did such a fantastic job my driveway almost looks like a new one again! Thank you, Bryan, Morgan, Jesse for your help. I would not hesitate to recommend JES Foundation Repair to anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy concrete repair.

JES encapsulated my crawl space (including a dehumidifier) and waterproofed one side of my house's foundation. The crew: Daniel Yacila, Alexander Falcon, and Pedro Llontop did an outstanding job. They were professional, courteous, hardworking, accommodating, thorough, and very friendly. The quality of their work was excellent. I would be happy to do business with this crew in the future. JES also elevated my front porch and sidewalk and that crew exhibited the same attributes.

He took the time to really explain what was going on with my home in a way that actually made sense, and I never felt rushed or pressured into anything. What stood out most was his honesty and attention to detail. He walked me through all my options, answered every question I had, and made sure I felt confident in the decisions being made. We hired JES to install a sump pump and repair a crack in our gym after we discovered water damage. While going through the permitting process, we discovered that the water damage was being caused by an unrelated issue with our front steps. Nic from JES came back out to our house free of charge to evaluate the situation and ease our mind. He listened to us and our concerns. After confirming that the water damage was not being caused by the crack in the gym and that the sump pump was not necessary, Nic fully refunded our deposit with JES. Thanks again Nic for stepping in!

I called JES for mold concerns in crawl spaces and also found that I had some structural support issues. Celeste C. came out to inspect and was awesome- knowledgeable and thorough. Tyler Holthaus, Brandon Warren, Larry Robinson Jr, and Roosevelt White did an amazing job, efficient and great attention to detail. Really nice guys working in some especially tricky tight spots!
