St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility. Discoveries made there have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. With research and patient care under one roof, St. Jude is where some of today’s most gifted researchers are able to do science more quickly. The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering research and treatment of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Ranked one of the best pediatric cancer hospitals in the country, St. Jude is the first and only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children.

JES employees have on several occasions participated and volunteered for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. A couple of times a year we have had employees volunteer at the hospital assisting with entertaining the children; reading stories, playing games, and bringing movies to view together. Vice President Scott Davis, P.E. helped organize a group from the company to participate in St. Judes Winter Festivities in 2013 where the organization put on shows, had small rides, and play areas for the kids all themed with different holiday costumes and music. JES has also made several donations directly to the St. Judes to help fund the research and care of the people the hospital helps every day.
