When your home has a problem, you need to feel comfortable with the company offering the solution. You want to know what the inspection will cost, how long the inspection will take and what else to expect.

My basement smells musty and has condensation on the walls. What should I do?

We’re experts at helping people with their basement waterproofing issues. However it would be a disservice to you to give you a recommendation about your problem without seeing it first.

Why can't you give me advice about my home's issue over the phone or email?

Without seeing the problem any “advice” we could offer would be nothing more than a guess. And you deserve better than that!

How much does the inspection cost?

The inspection is free!

How much does foundation repair, crawl space repair or basement waterproofing cost?

It depends on the type and severity of the issue. Because we have not seen your home, we cannot give you an accurate solution or estimate. The best way to receive an estimated cost is to have an inspector take a look at your home.

Will you sell my information to other companies?

Absolutely not! Your information is confidential and will not be sold.

How long does an inspection take?

Depending on the type and severity of your home’s problem, the appointment can take 2-3 hours. First an in-depth inspection of your home is conducted, then the inspector will review his findings with you, and work with you to design the best solution for your home and answer all of your questions.

After all, if you’re going to make an educated decision about repairing your home, you need all of the information you can get. And there’s no way that we can give you accurate information about your home without taking the time to perform a proper inspection

Do you have references?

Absolutely! We have references for every type of service we offer. We’re more than happy to provide you with references. You can also view testimonials on our website – foundation repair testimonials, crawl space testimonials, and basement waterproofing testimonials.

Will I receive a proposal at the end of my inspection?

Yes. The only reason you won’t receive a proposal is if your home doesn’t need repair or if it’s not in our scope of work.

How long have you been in business?

JES was founded in 1993 by Professional Engineer, Jesse Waltz. You can learn more about us and our history by reading The JES Story.

Who will you send to my home?

You’re getting an industry expert.

When you contact JES for an inspection that’s exactly what you’ll receive. All of our inspectors are extensively trained by our team of Professional Engineers and receive training and certification from industry experts in our network.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, we offer financing through a reputable bank. Our inspector can discuss financing options with you at your appointment.

What products do you offer?

Our foundation repair products are made in the US by IMG. Jesse Waltz, P.E., our co-owner and Professional Engineer, has played a critical role in the design of some of the products we install.

All of our products are tested and approved by our team of Professional Engineers before they’re added to our list of solutions. So you’re only receiving the best solution to your home’s problem.
