Jesse Waltz is the owner and President of JES. Since earning his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Military Institute in 1985, Jesse has designed and implemented structural repair and new construction solutions for military, commercial and residential applications.
Before founding JES in 1993, Jesse worked with the United States Navy. He oversaw all areas of construction, including: budgeting, administration of contracts, and construction management for commercial and residential structures on Navy property.
After finishing his Navy contracts, Jesse founded JES. JES is the Mid-Atlantic region's leader in foundation repair, basement waterproofing and crawl space moisture management solutions. In order to streamline JES' systems, lower operating cost, and improve client management, Jesse developed BizWiz® - a business management company.
Jesse is extensively trained in all areas of foundation repair, crawl space moisture management and basement waterproofing, receiving additional certifications as a Helical Pier Installer from Foundation SupportWorks, Inc. and a Water Management Specialist, certified by Basement Systems, Inc.
Jesse is dedicated to providing the best solution for foundation repair and stabilization problems. He continues his education, staying abreast of industry trends, technologies and best practices. Some of his additional trainings include:

Jesse plays an active role in the success of JES. In addition to managing all areas of JES, he trains the inspectors on proper foundation, basement and crawl space evaluation methods, ensuring that everyone has the skill and knowledge to safely and effectively diagnose a problem and recommend the best solution.
Jesse has also consulted with Grip-Tite Manufacturing, one of the leading manufacturers for Foundation SupportWorks. His role included: R&D, product design, training industry professionals, and providing engineering consultation for commercial and residential foundation and structural problems.
