Spouses Jesse and Stella Waltz started JES Foundation Repair out of their home in 1993. Over 20 years later, JES was the first company to partner with Groundworks to build the nation’s leading and fastest-growing foundation and water management solutions company. Had not heard of concrete lifting until late last year. Have had settled concrete slabs on our sidewalk along with a settling slab on the walkway to our front door. These were both an eyesore and a hazard (my husband tripped and had a hard fall). Celeste came to the house and proposed a course of action. She explained things and stayed until our questions were answered. We are very happy with the results. When the sidewalk slabs could not be sufficiently lifted because of underlying roots, they replaced the slabs with new concrete at no extra charge! The employees are all very friendly, courteous and responsive.

The whole team was courteous and kept the work environment clean as possible. We felt we were informed through the whole process and brought us down to the basement to show the progress. JaJuan called and asked if it was ok to arrive to the appointment 15 minutes early. When he arrived he was very professional and knowledgeable. After explaining and showing me what was going wrong with my garbage disposal he waited patiently while I contacted my husband to explain what needed to be done. Upon getting approval for the work he waisted no time installing our new garbage disposal. He answered all of my questions and cleaned up after himself. I have always been very pleased with A-1 Sewer and Drain's customer service and quality of work.
